Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

They sent my magsafe adapter, gift card, firewire adapter, and rMBP ALL separately w/standard shipping.
Gift Card was a solid envelope.
Laughed heartily at the oversized magsafe adapter box.

I live in Orange County, California. I did call a couple days after I ordered and complained since this is my 2nd rMBP because of the screen and they gave me free expedited shipping.

You're not in UK right? Maybe they do things differently. We don't get shipping options :/ I don't understand why Apple wouldn't want to let me pay them more for a expedited shipping. They only offer it on small things like accessories and iPod Nano.

Retina shipping quicker?

Has anyone been getting their MBPr faster than expected? I ordered mine today and got the expedited shipping and was wondering if there's a way for me to call apple, pull some strings and get next day shipping or even one day. So I guess my main question is wanting to know if anyone has received theirs earlier than expected or if there's been reports of them doing so:)

I don't wanna wait all the way til August21-23:(

It seems like my package has been sitting all day long at the UPS facility near Orly Airport :( and just a few minutes ago started its way home? I'm not completely sure as they stated -and continue to say so- that my package won't be delivered until tomorrow Friday around 7pm or even after. Although my shipping time has been pretty much nothing compared to others, I can't wait!
 
So, I got mine today. Shipped via UPS standard shipping. Purchased Aug 1st, so not bad at all. rMBP 2.6, 16, 256. Came with ML and have the Samsung screen. Everything is beautiful. Just trying to adapt to MacOS as I haven't really used a mac for over 15 years.

My biggest beef is that after using the laptop for a few hours, I picked up my iPad 2 and the screen looked so blurry in comparison! I may need to get the new iPad ... Damn you Apple!

You WILL get it much faster than they tell you. Mine originally was expected Aug 17-21 and I got it today. It was purchased Aug 1, prepared for shipment on the 3rd, shipped on the 4th. UPS said to expect it tomorrow (the 10th), yet it was delivered today. I didn't pay extra for expedited shipping and live in Canada.

I'm sure Apple will soon change the estimated shipping times to 1-3 days since this is the average now.

My estimate is 14 - 21st Aug. - I'm in Leura, (Blue Mountains NSW Australia)
 
I'm obsessive at this point. :)

I think my rMBP is on the flight that will arrive in memphis at 12:45 AM CDT on FDX90. I think it may still arrive tomorrow.
 
I ordered a 2.6/16/512 on 31/7.

It's due to arrive today and I'm more than a bit excited.

My girlfriend works evenings so she sleeps in til lunch time usually, but I have her on guard duty at the front door so she doesn't miss the couriers! :p

I really hope it comes with ML as I want to get straight into using it!
 
I don't get it from the people ordering on aug 1st and still processing, I ordered mine on aug 4th and already shipped and currently at the local FedEx facility. I am in ny btw.
I just hopes it comes with a Samsung screen and ml

Good to know you got samsung panel for your config rMBP 2.6.16/256. I ordered similar config on Aug'2nd, hoping to get samsung screen.

My shipment (rMBP, 2.6/16/256, Aug-2nd) was picked up well before the fedex cutoff. don't know why it didn't make the flight today. Could be due to standard shipping. :-(
Is there any chance it made it to the flight but the status didn't get update ???

Instead of playing the waiting game, I impulsively purchased mine at an Apple Store. Instant gratification!

Would love to do that but wanted to get a 2.6/16/256 which I can't find in the store. I should buy one to hold me over before mind comes in lol.
