White as white to me!

Checked with paper and it might even be a tiny, tiny bit cool as opposed to yellow.

Here's a pic with some daylight in the background. (The pic with paper doesn't work because the paper appears way too dark. But I'll put it up if you guys want.)

ordered mine on Aug 2nd and it's 2.6Ghz/16GB RAM/768GB SSD:

There's some weirdness with the times there.. also, I wonder why it didn't leave shanghai with the others earlier in the day and it ended up in Alaska.. weird.

Hope I don't get the dreaded LG screen...

Mine is with yours. Weirdness with times is crossing the international dateline and electronic recording happening after pick up.
 
Mine shipped at 3pm today - how long did you guys have to wait to see who your carrier is? Are they all with FedEx? I'm in the UK and I tried putting the number in on their website but it didn't show anything; I can track it on expo.expeditors.com but it hasn't got the flight info yet.
 
I ordered mine on the 9th (yesterday) around 11am. Got free expedited shipping and I live in Texas. I've posted about this already but just re-asking for those who can answer and haven't yet. Has anyone gotten theirs early? I start school on the 27th of this month and would like to have a week or more to play with it before entering hell. Expected arrival time is August 21-23. Anyone hearing reports or experiencing early arrival times? It's only been a day since i ordered and it still says processing but that's expected. Looking forward to hearing from anyone. thanks!

It should come earlier, mine was estimated to come on august 20-22. After it was prepared for shipping, UPS estimated it would come on Wed August 15th. I'm from Ontario.
 
I got my rMBP in the mail today... but there was a puncture in the box... Either in the factory, or en route, something sharp hit the box and a damaged sticker was placed over the hole. Regardless, it was shipped to me and the unibody over the display has a small dent in it. :mad:

It's not huge and thankfully doesn't impact function, but for $2500, no way is any damage acceptable. Now back to waiting. At least I get to keep this until the new one gets here.

Ordered mines on the 8th around 7pm with expected delivery on 20-22. I got free expedited shipping by calling to upgrade I wasn't looking for free it was a nice surprise.

I have never been so excited of an item before, not even my first car. So far I have searched up a few hundred reviews, since I cant get it out of my head.
 
Ugh mine is still in Shanghai , can't wait any longer it's suppose to come by Wednesday I hope it comes by Monday lol
 
Ordered on 5 Aug. Today it went to Preparing for Shipment, and then Shipped 6 hours later. Configuration is a base-model with 16GB RAM.

- 16GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
- 768GB Flash Storage
- 27inch Thunderbolt Display

Still Preparing for Shipment, delivery not estimated till 22-24th August :(

Also, should I be worrying about whether I get an LG or Samsung screen? Seen a bit of hooha in the threads about it?

how come u didnt upgrade t the 2.6 processor for 100 more?
