]It's been 5 days since shipped. 13 days since I placed order.

Took 18 hours from Memphis to NJ THEY USED GROUND not Air. Very slowly but surely, I should have it tomorrow here in South Jersey.

sorry if you've answered this already but since you got the base model, why didn't you just try to buy it from your local apple store?

Ordered: August 13 (late night). Original predicted delivery: August 24-28.
Processing: August 13-17
Preparing for Shipment: August 17 (morning) (CC charged)
Shipped: August 17 (just before midnight)
FedEx Ship Date: August 18
FedEx Estimated delivery: August 23

I guess mine missed your flight. Still indicates processing as of 10pm, Sunday. Ordered late nite, August 12, a day earlier than yours. Upgraded shipping method though.
 
Hmm, my rMBP is showing an estimated delivery for the 22nd, but it's already in Denver, which is where I live. Anyone know if I could get it earlier? Possibly even today (Monday)?

Would FedEx update the estimated delivery, or would they just deliver it early without updating the estimated delivery?

I'm just confirming that my rMBP will be delivered two days earlier than the FedEx estimated delivery date. The estimated date is the 22nd, and it's on truck for delivery today (the 20th).

This is also 3 days earlier than Apple's estimated delivery of 23-27.

I paid for expedited, it seems to have paid off.
 
My order finally changed from Preparing for Shipment to Shipped very early this morning after staying in the Preparing stage for almost 40 hours over the weekend. It's currently in Transit in Shanghai and is expected on Thursday, the 23rd, by 4:30!

Lucky you, lol, mine has been stuck on 'in transit' and doesn't seem to have made it to the US yet.
 
Ordered a rMBP 2.3/16/256 and I got tracking information today! According to Apple it wasn't arriving until Monday the 28th but according to TNT (Aust. courier) it's going to be here on Thursday!

I might skip uni that day.... 0:)
 
I got mine today! Apple was predicting 22-24, fedex predicted the 21st and i got it today. Fedex is awesome. Delivered within an hour of it reaching my local facility. UPS would of taken hours before even considering getting it to me.

Edit: Im at work atm so i wont know what condition or what screen I will have to wait till i get home at 5pm CDT but im hoping for a samsung and im hoping its in perfect condition!
 
Anyone have a screenshot of a detailed shipment progress to the bay area/SF? I just would like to see the transitions to include time changes. Thanks.

Just got my retina MacBook pro at 11:30 AM. Very happy with the screen and it is very fast machine. I got the Samsung display and I have no complaints on it so far.

Mine was still processing today. I cancelled the order and bought the same model from MacMall for slightly cheaper (and no tax, and a free copy of Parallels) and will have it tomorrow.

Congratulations :). Mine ordered 13 days ago should arrive the day after tomorrow (to France, w/ gift card and Ethernet adapter).
