What a tease, MBP still has't shipped.
 
Ordered Retina Display MBP this afternoon:
Ships: 2 - 3 Weeks

I will be out of town from June 19-July 1 so the timing is perfect for when I return home!
 
Just got notified by my credit card about a charge, had to let them know it wasn't fraudulent. And checked the apple store status and saw it changed to preparing for shipment. Just an FYI, I ordered the base model retina.

So those waiting around for the base model might want to check. I'd also make sure to clear any issues with your CC in case they flag it as fraud, just to make sure there isn't a holdup before having your mbp shipped.

I ordered at around 1:30 pst yesterday.

i ordered the base model around 330PM EST and it still says processing
i hope they change it soon cant wait for it !!

Ordered the 512GB MBP Retina around 9pm EST yesterday from the Singapore store. Took me a few hours to decide between the base and the souped up model. Looks like it will be a long wait :mad:

Mine just switched to "Preparing for Shipment". What's the chance I'll get it before the weekend? Do they do Saturday delivery?

There's a good chance you'll get it this week. What time did you get the email confirmation / etc?
 
i just got changed $100 on my credit card ? is that normal for free itunes gift card to be charged like this and then you get discount on the the laptop???

I was charged $100.00 too. Nothing else. I assume it may be the card, and then they refund it later or it may be a charge to ensure the card is good.

So it appears that these are shipping from overseas! Wow, crazyness!
 
Ah rats. I only got my email at 7:45 am CST on Tuesday. It will ship in 7-10 days with 2 day shipping.
It's supposed to arrive between June 25th to the 28th. I WANT IT NOW!#!@#$!
(But when I ordered my Dell XPS in 2008 it took 3 months to get here. 3 ****ING MONTHS. HOW DID I WAIT THAT LONG? And I didn't even get anything cool in compensation).
 
My card was charged!! So I checked online and my 15" base model retina is preparing for shipment! Time frame is still June 21 to 25, but my gift card is still processing!!! I ordered around 4:30 eastern

Bought my 15 in at 6pm the other night- says 2-3 weeks shipping :(

I've never bought a Mac this early in the phase, so can it be moved up to 1-2 weeks based on if they have more produced? I guess I'm asking how flexible the shipping schedule is.
