Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

OMG! whatever you do do NOT read the first 80 pages of this thread or check the google doc spreadsheet for other peoples status. Just contact Apple immediately and demand answers! :)


I'm 2-3 weeks as well and ordered on the 11th, my card has not been charged either but I did see the $15 shipping charge pop up today so hold in there.
 
Am I the only one who's irritated by the puerile behavior of two individuals who keep sorting and re-sorting the spreadsheet?

It's really nice that we have this and it's going to be great to see things tracked as they move to shipping status, but please for the love of all that is holy, can we pick a sort method and stop re-sorting over and over?

Sheesh.
 
Agggghhhh......come on Apple. Still Processing my 7-10 day June 27- July 3 order. I see some 2-3 weeks have started shipping today. Mostly Stock ones but one BTO. I think my 2.7GHz is delaying mine. Seems like 16GB RAM doesn't delay it but 2.7 or 768GB does delay it.

Haha! You should simply File > Download > Excel.

That's what I did and sort/filter to your heart's content.
 
By reading the pattern that seems to appear in this preadsheet, they should ship my mac either Monday or Tuesday! (3-10 Jul delivery estimate)

Btw, it's a bit weird that we see 2-3 weekers have shipped on the spreadsheet but nothing on the forum..

I'm a 2-3 weeker who ordered late on the 11th. I'll let you know the moment mine ships.
 
I just hope no one is teasing us with the spreadsheet xD

I'm in the 2-3 weeks group, purchased at 6:30 PM PDT still processing.
 
The only thing I'm looking at in the spreadsheet is Expected Shipment date and if it was Shipped or not.

There are some June 28 orders still yet to be shipped and only a couple June 29 shipped. I'm in the June 29 group. I'm expecting some movement Monday. Tomorrow if we're lucky!

Well,
1: they won't charge you till it ships
2: They will email you when it ships
3: There are still some of 6/11 orders still processing, you are not alone
4: If you are BTO, its gonna take a while longer
 
It's undeniably going to be a long few weeks (my BTO scheduled for delivery between 7/16-7-20) but I'm taking comfort in the fact that a steady supply of new unboxing/review videos, covering this beautiful machine, is showing up every day on YouTube. This, fortunately, assuages (somewhat) the wait-time blues and gives me plenty of vicarious enjoyment. Hopefully it won't get old before the real thing gets here...

It's not really gonna take 3-4 weeks though...is it?

Probably not. But it might take 2 to 2 1/2 weeks.

Ha ha. I would normally agree. I have no idea how I got so lucky. I'll throw up a pic tomorrow. I'm transferring from my old MBP now. 7 hours to go :(
 
Ugh... I just called apple and upgraded from the 8GB to the 16GB... I originally ordered my base rMBP on the 11th, and was expecting it between 5 July - 10 July. Now it has been bumped to 23 July - 27 July. This waiting game is no fun... :(:(:(

Why did you change the ram if its going to bump your to next month. You are going to be waiting 1.5 months for your RMBP.

It's better to wait 1 month (because it will probably be here this time next month) now, than to regret not upgrading a year down the road. You can't change the RAM of your rMBP once you have it so what's a few weeks considering I'm going to be using this computer for 4-8 years? Just disappointing to know that I was next in line to have mine shipped... and had I known on June 11 that this was what I wanted, I would have been receiving my 16 GB rMBP way sooner.

My AppleCare "auto enroll" just moved to "Complete"....hopefully that means the rMBP is getting ready to ship!

Ordered evening of June 11, base config.

On another note, I talked to Apple due to the conflicting message I was told regarding "expedited" shipping (in that the rep I spoke to a few days ago claimed that all Apple computers ship in an expedited manner)..and he upgraded me to it at no charge. (even though the other rep claimed there's no such thing)...and who knows, mayber there isn't, but it's sure nice to see my delivery estimate move from July 2-9 to June 29-July 6! :D even though I'll likely get it on the exact same day.

So for those in the USA that have received them, how long did it take to get it once it showed up at the FedEx/UPS tracking site..did anyone take longer than three business days once it hit FedEx/UPS?
