As you already figured out where I live

FedEx Tracking Number

502639575406

But I'm sure I'll have also faked the fedex website :)

By now, no one doubts you have one, since you posted up a picture of it... in your house

But, it's obviously a white lie that you ordered it on the 18th. My guess is, you ordered it on the 11th, early afternoon time.

Does anyone know Apple's logic on which stores it sends shipments to on which day?

I gave up waiting for 3-4 weeks to get my computer. No, I didn't cancel my order, just in case that ends up coming up sooner, but I have three Apple stores in my area. I constantly call each of them daily. They keep telling me that they never have any in stock, but they HAVE to be getting them if some of the places listed above (MacMall and Apple stores in California) get them. They probably sell out quickly... so is there any way to know when my local store will get any?

Thanks.
I've not seen them in stock in the Apple store where I'm at, but I've seen the 8gig 2.3 and 2.6 in stock at two different BestBuy's. Alas, I've ordered a 16 gigger, which doesn't seem to be in stock on planet earth.

Why not just stand in line at the ass crack of dawn? If they received any, you'd be the first to know.

Really seems to be a big lull in the shipments. The spreadsheet shows that so far everyone received theirs earlier than the estimate so can't really complain. Then there are the few random really early shipments for people. The 10th business day is next Monday so Apple can still meet their estimate for me by shipping on Monday:( And judging how fast my new Air arrived they could still have it to me by the 29th maybe which is early in the delivery estimate. My guess now is that I will receive it not till after the Canada Day Long weekend on July 3rd. The last day of my estimate. This would make me probably one of the worst cases for meeting or beating the preset estimates. I won't be here on next Friday so unless they ship today, I won't get it till July 3rd anyways. If they ship today there is a chance it could make it by Thursday. Oh well, the longer the wait, the better it feels when it finally arrives.:)

I'm in the 3-4 weeker group.. 12 - 18 July.
2.3 16 256 ordered on the 13th.

I was totally refreshing the store on the 11th, but it took two days of negotiations to get Spouse approval. I could have easily bought an 8 gig at Best Buy last week and had it in hand. Could probably do it now, for that matter. Must have my 16, though. I wait. :(

Does Best Buy do the student discount and the $100 gift card?

I don't know. I've read somewhere on the forum "NO", but I don't know how accurate that is.

Just received my RMBP. Its incredible. The only way I can explain the screen is as if I put on my glasses (my eyesight is terrible, but I'm far too lazy to wear the glasses I have most of the time).

Went from Shangai to NS, Canada in 4 days, in case people are wondering. June 19-June 22. Apple estimate was 27th-July 3rd after I paid for expedited shipping. Even Fedex thought it would be Monday before I got it.

Does seem like it has slowed down, maybe have something to do with the weekend (Holiday in China). Hopefully things will pick up Sunday afternoon.

I think our document is up to date with the sort function. Now you would see close to where you are in line with our MacRumors community. Thanks to all who helped! I will continue to rerun our sort function several times throughout the day to make sure we are up to date with our latest data.

Any other suggestions for the spreadsheet?

Why don't you go and work on the weekend too? Get the feeling about that. Humanity right!

I did work on weekends, a whole summer :) 14 hours a day 6 days a week, in a construction company.

I know working on weekend seems difficult to do but I wouldn't mind doing it for extra cash and I'm sure a lot of people need some extra cash

It's probably too late, but I would have liked to see what shipping method people had (overnight, 2-3 day, standard, etc). Most of the difference in delivery date estimates is due to what type of shipping people had (and how far flung they are located), and doesn't reflect where they are in a line.

Hi everyone, quick question regarding stock of the Retina model MacBook Pro's.

I will be travelling around the west coast of America on vacation from late July and hope to order a 15" Retina MacBook Pro whilst in Hollywood. I would ideally get it delivered by Amazon to my hotel. I have already phoned the hotel to let them know, they ensured it was fine.

My question is, by 11th August 2012 do you think Amazon will be selling the Retina Model with normal shipping times? If not, can I expect most stores, Apple and reseller, to have steady stock by 11th august 2012.

You'd be better off getting it in Oregon as there is no Sales Tax.

No idea about stock but it's a pretty expensive machine so one might expect that once initial demand is fulfilled that stock will build back to normal.

Ordered my rmbp last night, got the base model but with upgraded RAM. Expected delivery is 19th-25th July, lucky I'm going on holidays in the mean time to fill my time!

Just wondering, is the delivery date the same for everyone no matter whether it's a custom order or factory default? It's my first ever mac, quite excited/nervous about the transition from Windows! :D

Where do you guys get your delivery date estimate?? I only see"Ships: 2-3 weeks." but no actual dates like you guys are seeing.

My Retina was ordered through business at Apple store end of day on the 11th and it is still "processing". It's driving me NUTS!!

See pic below:

Soooooo not to be a creeper or anything (i'm just an excited apple fan). I tracked your package to look at the tracking history of your package so I can get a sense of what's the next step for my package. Looks like Anchorage/Tennessee is next! :D

You're almost home, MBP! :')

Yes, but may I request exotic male dancers, too? Cuz, y'know... women aren't my thing.

I'm with you on that one ;)

Do you see it if you click "Hide Configuration Details"? All the screenshots people have shown don't have all of the BTO stuff listed. I ordered a stock one so I don't have the same screen.

Thanks, but if I'm not missing something, there seems to be a mistake in the GMT conversion. CDT should be GMT-5, not GMT-6 as the current GMT column in the spreadsheet suggests. Similarly, the others should be: EDT=GMT-4, MDT=GMT-6, and PDT=GMT-7.

I always thought CDT was GMT - 6, or is that before daylight savings?

Store Pick Up recommendation:

1. Back car into garage the night before

2. Call each Apple store starting about an hour before they are scheduled to open. Some turn their phones on early and accept calls. Ask them if they got any RMBP's in.

3. In my case, since I ordered the base model, even if they had upgraded models, I would have purchased them.

4. Be FIRST IN LINE in the morning for the Apple store that is the biggest in your area that has told you they got some in.

5. Good luck
