Thanks, but if I'm not missing something, there seems to be a mistake in the GMT conversion. CDT should be GMT-5, not GMT-6 as the current GMT column in the spreadsheet suggests. Similarly, the others should be: EDT=GMT-4, MDT=GMT-6, and PDT=GMT-7.

there are probably a lot of mistakes in the GMT conversion. We had to do it manually and converting time zones really messes with my mind (am I alone on that one?)

As long as we are close it shouldn't matter too much. I just wanted to make sure there was a difference between someone who orders at 1 am and someone who orders at 11 pm. If it bothers you too much, you can fix them. haha jk

Do you see it if you click "Hide Configuration Details"? All the screenshots people have shown don't have all of the BTO stuff listed. I ordered a stock one so I don't have the same screen.

No it's the same view when I hide the configuration.

Where do you guys get your delivery date estimate?? I only see"Ships: 2-3 weeks." but no actual dates like you guys are seeing.

My Retina was ordered through business at Apple store end of day on the 11th and it is still "processing". It's driving me NUTS!!

See pic below:

You have a different screen than me. Here's mine.

I've fixed mine :D (which was an estimate to begin with). I guess it's not that important.

Finally!!!!! Prepared for shipment!!!!! 7-10 day. Oh the agony. 2-3 weeks should start rolling now.

Make sure to update your spreadsheet entry when appropriate. Congrats. You look like the last order in the 7-10 day range. This will be interesting to see how the 2-3 weekers are completed.

I find it extremely depressing that Apple has not shipped out all the orders from the 11th yet.

There are many 2-3 Weeks people that ordered on the 11th. Can't believe how fast a $2K item sells.

Wonder if apple wanted to do an april fool's joke of selling toilets, if those would sell well too. It's like they can even sell anything if it is ascetically appealing. :)

Try $3K, and I'm a Jun 11th that has not shipped.

I ordered mine through a 3rd party, and only payed around 2k for a 512, 2.7 16gb rMBP because I didnt know I had a giant paypal balance that I used up :)

just got sick of the 3-4 weeks wait called my local apple store they had one and went and picked up my 2.3/8/256 and cancelled my online order. The only problem is my 100$$ gift card which i have to wait 3-5 days for iTunes to refund back. Other than that i'm a happy camper.....good luck to you all.

Score, got to love finding cash you forgot about!

Curious, what third party? Did not think anyone other then Apple could handle BTO orders

By third party, i mean ebay. I was originally in the 5-7 range when it first started. I then canceled my order "thinking" that I could find them in store since I left the next day for a work trip to the UK. By the time I got back to my laptop it was at the 3-4 range. The seller ordered a lot (so he says) and has a lot of configs, i wanted this one and it was somewhat cheaper then doing the business discount (before my paypal balance). Im fine waiting, im selling my 17 inch i7 tonight for around 1800 or so :)

Congrats. I'm next in line so just as happy right now.

But this makes me curious to think that the only way you would get bumped to preparing for shipment is if you are in the batch leaving Saturday night (Shanghai time), which would make me conclude that the festival this weekend has no effect on production. It might be a public holiday, but they will always be able to find workers to cover any shifts just the same way restaurants are open on holidays.

So there's still some hope for 2-3 weeks to see some movement this weekend and get it on Monday. I absolutely need mine by Thursday because I leave the country for a few months. It's going to be close.

(I'm actually next in line) :D

spreadsheet

someone just deleted all the early date arrivals

I realize that these people already got theirs, but i was still interested in looking at the differences btn apple's shipping estimate and reality

Yes, it's funny I was explaining the spreadsheet to a friend and he was saying "so anybody can delete this..." I responded yes but I assume that most people spending 3000+ on a computer are not that stupid and then boom!

I guess there are morons in every class!

Yukon must be the reason for you being last. Not that us here in ON are any better...

I think I was just minutes from the 2-3 week cutoff time judging from the spreadsheet. Also I was BTO and the only 2-3 week ones that shipped before me were Stock configs (except one or two). Anyways, I have a good idea of how fast it will come as my Air came last week. There is now a chance I may get it by next Thursday, before I fly to Edmonton on Friday. Probably won't travel with it anyways but maybe I will:D

i created a restore point. hold up and let me fix it. please don't delete any entries in the future. We can learn from the past orders.

There is a "revision history" feature (File menu) to restore an earlier revision (but it doesn't seem to work here ). Maybe someone (the owner of the document?) can use that to get back the deleted rows.
