The “official” reviewers like the Verge, Engadget, etc. got their machines a week or 2 ago, but random YouTube reviewers just got them today like people like me. Of course I have a day job so I couldn’t post a YouTube review. 😊
Uhh ok, so why haven’t the big boys posted reviews yet. Which was my point. My guess is they be closed

a lot of small mistakes in his videos, I'm sure this is one of them

Luke Miani mixed it up as well apparently..

I think the truth may lie in between, meaning: no, the new 2020 MBP does not have the speaker upgrade the 16" received last November - but has the new kind of "stereo speakers" that the MacBook Air upgraded to from the 2019 to 2020 version?

Yea, same here in Germany..

I think it is ridiculous we need to pay €2130 to get the 10th gen CPU and DDR4 RAM. I don’t care what any fanboys says. This is a classic Apple move, back to their old tricks.
I don’t care much for the 14 inch screen, if they would’ve just UPDATED the internals without you having to pay €2130, it would be fine. Anyone justifying that € pricetag is sick.

Can anyone please test Speedometer 2.0 web benchmark with 10th Gen CPUs? It would be very nice if you can test both on battery and plugged in. Thanks!

This thing is not going to be a gaming powerhouse but I would be curious to hear if it makes actual games playable (rather than just bumping up benchmark numbers).

Apple cited Total War Three Kingdoms as having an 80% improvement - but that probably means it still runs badly on anything other than full potato low settings?

Few months ago, Mediamarkt was selling MacBook Pro 16" for 2399€. Wasn't quick or lucky enough to score myself one but that was such a great deal in comparison to this 2130€ 13"

For all you Americans, don’t forget the MBP with 10th gen chip costs a whooping €2130 in Europe (NL). That’s $2300 instead of $1800!
Love being an  fan living in Europe. Not!
Don't complain 😂

In Australia 10th gen starts at $2999 and $3299.

Better off buying the big boy 16 inch at them prices. 😑

How's the front camera? I know it's the same resolution (720p) as the Air but I'm assuming it has a better sensor as I think the lid is deeper. My Air's camera is fine in decent light but really bad in a dimly-lit room.

Hello!
I was waiting for the renewal of the MBP but I was a little disappointed (CPU => RAM frequency),
I have an iMac late 2012 i5 2,9GHz 16GB of RAM and I am interested in buying a laptop as a complement.

Do you think that the MBP 13 "1.4GHz 8GB RAM is a good purchase now?
Please, could someone put the results of a blackmagic disk test for the 256GB disk?
I would be very grateful

A 21% VAT accounts for a lot of that difference. You are paying about $100 more before taxes. Plus you get a longer statutory warranty than in the US.

Does that include taxes?

to those who got their new 13” MacBooks: do you guys have coil whine? I’m thinking of getting this laptop but I’m afraid it might have that coil whine which I experiended on two 16” machines (both returned eventually)

Well...(bit off-topic); with taxes these are the starting prices in USD, for the exact same MBP 10th gen. i5 in the US, AU and EU (Netherlands):
US: 1799 USD
AU: 1953 USD (2999 AUD in Apple store)
EU: 2308 USD (2129 EUR in Apple store) and the 16" starts at a whopping 2926 USD (2699 EUR in Apple store).

Hi folks. Any one of you guys facing the noise issue which the 16“ MBP does have?

Are the fans silent (load and no load sitiations) when extended to am external monitor? Both in closed lid and open lid situations?

thanks
