In a MacBook, wide bezels are actually a good thing, because they help you concentrate better into the screen and avoid distractions from the background. The display size is important, but if you’ll be using a small size such as 13inch or smaller, then a wide bezel can really help in creating a more immersive experience when you want to really concentrate in what you are doing.

100% agree. What is everyone’s obsession with having no bezel?
What looks better… a college diploma in a frame hanging on a wall or the diploma just taped to a wall?

A notch on a MacBook is horrible. It’s bad enough that we still have it on the iPhone.
When I upgraded my wife’s phone to the 13 max from the 12 max, I mentioned that the notch was smaller. She had no idea what I was on about. She never noticed it. Only tech minded people actually care. Anyone else don’t bother. 120 hz and more screens however is something people want to see.

Have you not seen movies or YouTube videos on a black black background. It makes a huge difference. There is a reason theatre's around the world at pitch black. Same thing can be applied to the bezels

unconfirmed but reliable leaker has said this was to sync with the AR glasses for an unleashed experience where your entire room becomes the display..

..it was tim, tim told me.

you should ...
but lets see this first hand and then make your decision ... a notch within the menu bar is not a big deal imho ...
I agree. Notch doesn’t bother me either but people seem to hate it and they bash on Apple for that. But no Face ID but the notch is there is very confusing and it makes no sense at all.

I agree. It’s Apple reporting or spreading these sketchy rumors around. To get you and me excited. While Apple is having good breakfast right now.
