Just funny sitting looking at the dongles that got here over a week ago! I got the full charge on Fri but no movement yet. Probably need to go out/stop checking every hour!
I agree in principle, but we're not complaining about the delay, in fact most aren't even in their delivery windows yet. It's the apparent exclusion of one continent from a whole batch of devices, for no good reason (that we know of). If they had set expectations later than the US, or specifically said the US were going to receive them first (like they often say at keynotes), then there would be no need to complain, or feel like we're missing out on the launch day fun, which, as a Mac user, you know is a big part of the experience.

Just received the USB C to A adaptator from the Netherlands by regular mail (4 days).

I've just had someone from Apple Store service (Belgium) on the phone.
They confirmed me that people on the chat do not have any information about the shipping, they are only there to assist you if you need some assitance to buy a product.
However, after letting me wait for 10min with a little song, she contacted the center in Ireland and they said that my MacBook Pro should be in Belgium within the next 24 hours and I'll be delivered on Friday or on Monday (can only be confirmed once the laptop is in Belgium).
Take it or leave it but she seems pretty sure about what she was saying and about that the laptop will be in Belgium tomorrow, so I expect some change in status of order by tomorrow ;-)
Also, she confirmed me that the full amount had been reserved on my credit card but it will only be charged once it will be in Belgium for shipping.
With some chance we'll still got them this week ;-)

That's good news but as always, will take with a pinch of salt. Until the status changes, we can't be sure.

If this indeed the case, a big part of Europe should receive them within one day 🙂 Please Apple, let us rejoice...

If this is true, the MacBook has to ship now. But maybe they will shipped from distribution centers as often mentioned. Everything is possible. There must be a reason for this delay with no information.
Just looked my apple watch & iPhone 7 shipping...
Watch was shipped a tuesday from China and delivered friday.
If my MBP don't get shipped today, it's finished for this week...

Exactly what I've been thinking ever since the nagging started on the other thread.
OK, so Apple wrote me that it'll take a couple of weeks. I ordered a stock 15" (2.7GHz, 512 GB SSD), delivery between 11/24 and 1/12. I'm fine with that and I'll wait. And I honestly don't care very much if someone in the US or in AUS get their MBP a couple of days earlier than they were supposed to.
I believe that someone may have gotten a device intended for someone else who had cancelled his order in the meantime. I'm sure there are reasonable explanations for everything.
Sure, I wouldn't mind if the status on my order suddenly changed (p4s or shipping 🙂). I don't mind waiting another two weeks either.

So after scouring thousands of "Waiting for Skylake MBP" posts - I made it to sign up... finally ;-)
Really buzzed about the EU delays... ordered within minutes (well I actually can't remember anymore when the keynote was over, so maybe I decided for ages...) of the keynote... no charge no nothin...
But I know from when my watch2 was shipped, that they can kind of "stealth check" some credit cards in Germany, mainly the ones from the major banks. So the only way you know that there is some kind of precharge on your card is, if the precharge fails. But even then they will give you a notice and only if the issue is not resolved within 3 business days (then they will do that check again) your order might be delayed.
Actually debating on lowering my card limit just for the heck of it, to know when I get precharged..... but that might actually backfire.

I hope too... I ordered within the 30min after the keynote and my delivery window is 17 Nov - 24 Nov...
I found my tracking info from my iMac from November 2014, that took 7 days from China to the UK... I really hope they just turn up out of the blue nice and early
I had a BTO iMac last year that was arrived 2 days after shipping so you never know. I assume that came from China too but then it might have made it's way to the UK before I got the dispatch notice

In that case we should see a shipped status tomorrow at the latest (16-23). Let's just hope it's not the case, and they are shipping from within Europe already.
