Huh???

Exactly how does a thinner bezel around the screen save the space needed to make the new MacBook Pro thinner? If the screen size remains the same, a thinner bezel does nothing other than reduce the overall size of the package, which doesn't free up any space at all. On the contrary, a smaller footprint has the opposite effect.

RAM in MBs and MBPs

There aren't any 4GB DIMMS available for notebooks yet, or am I mistaken?

Kingston sells a 4GB SO-DIMM 667 MHz in Europe..i'm not sure about the 800Mhz. Does anyone know if they exist or will very soon?

anyway pc notebooks with 2 RAM-Slots capable of 8GB max already exist...
so this will also hopefully be at least the new maximum for the MBPs.

No, it can't. That's really to bad. But there are some solution to that with an external adaptor. But I don't know how good it works..

Take a look at:

Gpu

have you noticed that the grafics on the mac book pro's have changed in the past weeks to NIVIDA 8600's?

I know you need two outputs to power a 30"...and there are plenty of people running 30" displays off their MBP...so I assume its possible somehow. I herd something like the pros have dual-link DVI output.

okay, I have'nt heard that so I don't know ^^
I also would like two displays to the MBP and when I've been searching around I've herad that peaple can't be connected to two monitors, unless they use something like this: http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/products/gxm/ :)

Well, it is just so that these typewriters with their single-line display were so unbelievable wide-screen.

Why not go all the way instead of stopping at 16:9?

The manufacturer can advertise huge screen-diagonals at virtually no cost!

Honestly, I am pretty much joking, however the current 'trend' to ever wider displays seems like a plot to sell the customer more for less. Instead of 1920x1200 they give you 1920x1080 and sell it at a premium...

Yeah, why not? :D
