MacBook Pro Shipments Being Delayed Due to UPS 'Mechanical' Issues

Just to add on top of my previous comment.
I think it is very likely we reached Louisville. Reasons why we will see different scans from now on (considering somehow we missed arrival scans) is that now our items will head to different destination facilities. Mine for example will come to Montreal, Quebec. Let's see, but I'm excited!

this is what my tracking says now. I got fed up yesterday and just went down to my local apple store and purchased one there they had plenty of stock of the base 14. if the other one ever comes I will just return it.

No update since last night. I doubt they skipped scanning them twice.

Oh hey, I live in Monteal too, so I guess we'll get it exactly at the same time (hopefully) :)

Mine has not cleared customs yet.. so we'll see.. maybe just a delay in updates, still have no delivery date.

Me too. No update yet. But it will make it to Louisville today or early tomorrow morning.
 
The delays are because of the same issue Southwest dealt with a couple of weeks ago – weather and ATC, plain and simple.
 
Maybe the next MacBooks will come with propellers and wings. Not only would that allow them to deliver themselves, but they could replace drones and broadcast teleconferences from above and gaining and giving a whole new angle to Center Stage.

Mine said that too… but it’s still moving, probably just a mistake. I called Apple and had them start an investigation over that since I didn’t authorize a hold.
Pretty sure it was just a mistake on UPS’ part.

Seems like somehow we arrived at Anchorage together (on 5X91), but we were split afterwards. My guess is that maybe those bound to States for final delivery made it first (easier clearance I assume). Mine took the next flight to Louisville (For Montreal, Canada). I assume others will see similar update.

I feel we should be able to get it Monday, but knowing UPS and how frustrating things can get, let's assume Tuesday delivery for "peace of our minds"...

Mine has the same progress as yours and is bound for Southeast US. Looks like it was on the B748 plane, unloaded and hitched a ride on the B748 that came from Hong Kong destined for Louisville.

When you outsource a service and the Company providing the service shows they can't be reliable, you look for another company with better track record. If you put your brand in that joint venture, you will demand better service and more accountability. Apple has done it before with their suppliers (intel, nvidia, AMD).
