So Steve's keynote will be at 10:30 AM EST? If so, that's better than usual. I can wake up and not have to wait as long.

the press event starts at 10:30 AM EST. i do not think it has yet been confirmed if it is a Stevenote or not.

We're either a sad bunch, or a really SICK group of Mac-lovers! Personally, I think I'll get some shut-eye knowing that there will be an announcement of some kind whether I'm awake or not! Hitting refresh all these hours hasn't gotten me anywhere.

This is my first post. I've registered so that I can share in the pre-MBP update (hopefully!) excitement. I'll be heading out for an hour and a half drive back to school when the news (again, hopefully!) breaks. My credit card will burn a hole in my pocket during class, then I will rush back to the dorm to order my 17" MBP with Merom and a magnetic latch, with a lower price to boot! Hmm, maybe I'm already asleep and dreaming. We can always hope, right? If not, I'll probably just go ahead and order. I'm a switcher just waiting to...umm...flip the switch?
