Right year just wrong quarter or half.I think they have the wrong year?![]()
Don’t bet on it. The design similarity of a 13” Air and 13” MBP could see that Air using a fan for cooling a M2, and there ceases to be a 13” MBP model. Still this rumor is a bad one.Right year just wrong quarter or half.
If you like to see a updated iPad Air and iPhone SE.Sounds like the event next month is going to be exciting.
What’s the point of a 13” Pro model when the following is present 13”,14” and 16”. The present 14” Pro fits in approximately the same case dimensions as the old 13” Pro.Don’t bet on it. Or how about abandoning the whole “pro laptop” one piece form factor, and moving to a two piece form factor, separating the computer from the screen and keyboard? I think Universal Control means a thin and silent laptop can be the front end for a super powerful chip up to 10 meters away.I think they should return to the origins and this model should be called "Macbook", "Macbook" for all the 13" versions (including Air) and "Macbook Pro" for 14" and 16"
No different than the (not) NEW iPhone SE 2022 -- just add a faster chip and call it new.Is it going to have magsafe or an SD card slot? If it's just the current model, except with an M2 and no touchbar then...uh...wow.
You have a very Strange way of thinking something is obvious, when you dont even mention it. So good job in assuming people are mind readers. That’s obviously what I meant in talking about MacBook Pros, but good job![]()

For all the I wish I wish I doubt we will see a 15" Air. The MBA needs to be updated to how the MBP 13" is for the M2. I think the slightly larger battery, M2, 500 nit screen seem a good fit IMHO. When we get closer to the 2 year anniversary guess we are in for a nice treat. But anything along this is certainly not March 8.What’s the point of a 13” Pro model when the following is present 13”,14” and 16”. It logical to have a MB 13” and 15” and a MBP 14” and 16”. Since there is a wide enough gap between screen sizes. At present there is only one screen size MBA. Previously there was the 11” and 13”.
any base config is entry level. Entry level Mac Pro is $6,000."Entry level Pro Model" a sentence that should not even exist. Either something is a "Pro" or it is not.
Don't worry its not happening.Fck, I just bought an M1 16" MBPro the other day![]()
You want a MBP entry its the 14" base model using a M1 Pro.I believe the MacBook Pro entry model with the M2 processor should be released in the next month.
They should bring back the MacBook 12” wedge form factor as the new Air but make it a 13”. With the M2, I’m sure this is totally doable with great battery life. I still own mine and it’s fantastic— the lightest, thinnest laptop Apple’s ever made. Let everything else be MacBook or MacBook Pro.It should be MacBook (13” and 15”) and MacBook Pro (14” and 16”). Scrap the MacBook Air name and entry Pro model, with the redesign away from the wedge form it may mean that its time Apple is looking to bring back the MacBook name.
No such thing as "Pro" tech anyway. It's just a marketing term for 'premium hardware' or 'top of the range' or whatever you want to call it."Entry level Pro Model" a sentence that should not even exist. Either something is a "Pro" or it is not.

And there is one professional photography studio I go to that still uses an old PowerPC Mac with Adobe Creative Suite 2 on it. Any Mac - even the Macbook Air, will be able to fulfil their needs.Agree.
While an obvious marketing term to indicate ‘more capable,’ I think ‘pro’ is intended to speak more to the components of the device and less to the human using said device (though it seems common that many assume the label speaks to the person). As is proven on a daily basis, having a ‘pro’ tool does not make one a ‘pro.’
Data Scientists need this! ANY PENNY LESS is not a "pro" system!!!No such thing as "Pro" tech anyway. It's just a marketing term for 'premium hardware' or 'top of the range' or whatever you want to call it.
