Yes sir! Talked to Apple manager for 15 minutes. He told me it is out of his hands because the product is really delayed until January. He offered me he can place an order for me and hopes it gets to me sooner… unfortunately that answer was not good enough for me because there is no time line I was given… so he told me it will be escalated above him and they will look into what happened. So, tomorrow I’m getting a call from Apple corporate. All this for dang polishing cloth 😂
Dude! You're getting the Corporate Polish!!

You should definitely spend a little time reading this post. This was during iPhone 13 launch. It is worth reading. Trust me… I poured all my hard work, sweat and heart ❤️ out. I also wrote this post at 2AM in the morning. People that ordered iPhone 13 this year knows the feeling and the struggle. To this day, it still bring chills to my spinal cord.

Hint: Read the part “Why do we do this every year?”
I'd like to keep checking my order tonight to see if it will miraculously prepare to ship early, but I've got to crash. So, I'll leave you with this tonight.

Thanks for sharing the video. This is more of my night tonight :) if you don’t know this song or haven’t watched it you are missing out big time.

Best 04:53 minutes of your life 🙃

While we're waiting to receive our machines (and hear back from UPS hopefully soon) what's the first thing you plan to do with your new MacBooks? For me I'll be opening an existing CAD project and rotating it really fast and enjoying the smoothness. Going from 1.5GB Iris Pro to 32GB 32-Core M1 Max GPU will be life-changing!

lol - I will probably be spinning my ship.

Are you at Preparing for Shipment yet? I am also Nov 3 - 5, “upgraded” to Express Delivery via Apple Chat, still processing and no charges.

Shortly after the charge my status updated to Preparing for Shipment.

I attempted to “upgrade” to Express Delivery last night and the rep said he was unable to.

Hopefully, we all just get UPS Express Worldwide on these shipments.

What happened today?
Hi, all!

Ahhh, It is 12:13 AM in the morning in Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm off to bed soon. What a hectic day today. I have some good news and bad news... Let's start with the good news first. Tonight, someone reported our first "UPS Tracking Scan", It really gave me a little hope. Post: #2,464 . This is our first and only person who reported a UPS shipment label tonight.

As we all are anxiously waiting and checking the status of it. For most of us our status changed to "Preparing to Ship", this also ensures, Apple is very close to processing our order. They are running our order numbers and assigning the MacBook Pro. Many of you also reported shipment date being moved. Also, the folks that are expecting a delivery date in November also saw movement. So, this is all good news.

Now, the bad news... 99% of us are still waiting for the UPS scan to show up. It's taking its sweet time and I'm not sure what's happening. All I have is some faith and hope.

It's past midnight and it's a Friday today. I hope today is the day our shipment label shows up in UPS. Hopefully, UPS workers will get on board and start assigning the tracking numbers to us. As predicted before... we will be traveling together and sharing this journey over the weekend. So, expect a busy weekend. It would be really nice if we wake up with assigned tracking number's tomorrow.

I'm off to bed soon. Have a wonderful night and may the force be with us.

Special thanks to @eXoenDo for notifying this thread about his UPS shipment label. When you wake up in the morning, please check the status and let us know if you see anything updated.

So something finally appeared! I checked UPS by reference number one more time before going to bed, and I found this:

I have a 14" custom build. The reference number I used was my phone number with "1" at the beginning, as this is how it's listed in my account, +1XXXXXXXXXX. The order detail page also updated with this:

When your order has shipped, we'll send you tracking information. Due to the impact of COVID-19 and increased demand for online shopping, we recommend visiting Track Shipment for the most up-to-date delivery information, as well as options to reschedule or hold for pickup

Apple / Goldman Sachs are notoriously stingy about credit limits and APRs early on in the Apple Card ownership process. (...) and they gave me a paltry $5k at 16%
It's always interesting to compare how all of this works in different parts in the world. I have a "credit card", but the amounts I spend get charged in their entirety at the end of the month. So it's more like a delayed debit card. Which is why I don't see the benefit of having one. In Europe, Maestro (debit version of Mastercard) is used everywhere and much easier to manage (getting cards, changing limits, ...).

When I tried to pay my 14" yesterday, it turned out my Mastercard's limit wasn't high enough. I called the bank this morning and they said it was €2500 and they could not raise it. So I told them to cancel the card because it just made no sense to pay for one if I can't use it properly. Fortunately, Apple actually accepts bank transfers in Europe, if you are a company. Since I'm self employed, they accepted my company details and set up a pro account for me. Just waiting for the financial department to approve everything and to send me the wiring details and I'll be back on track.

Well, you can use Klarna card or Barclay card if it's available in your country. It's my understanding that they are widely available in Europe and both allow splitting the amount into manageable monthly payments.

As far as I am aware, payment spreading on cards is not allowed at all in Belgium. It's why my Mastercard is also a delayed debit card.

It could just mean they don't have enough credit history (overall or with just Apple). I used to pay my credit card a few times a month because my monthly spending exceeded my few hundred dollar limit
I do have enough credit history my Apple Card was 2,500 and the other card I decide to put it on is 6,500, And Plus I also use my Apple Card for other things so I did not want to max it it .

I'm unemployed but I doing good- if I did not have the money then I would not ordered it

I’m Almost convinced the base models are stateside. My base 14 still hasn’t charged to my Apple Card yet and still has the pending tax charges.

Interestingly the tax is based on the amount post trade in as well.

Apple and Goldman Sachs never gave me any issues. When Apple introduce the Titanium credit card ? I had to get it. So I applied for it and my starting limit was $17,000 They also gave me 6 months of 0% Apr promotional rate as well. Interest-free.

Keep in mind when I applied for the card I was a broke college student. With lots of student debt, a bunch of other debt over me. I did have a full-time job and my FICO score was at 799. I have never ever missed a credit card payment. 10+ years of credit history. American Express also managed to help me. Also, I reported my assets too. So a lot goes behind the factor and I was able to get approval with no problem. So it just varies I guess.
I got the Apple Card like right when it came out, and when I apple I got the starting limit $2,500 and my I do pay my cards on time and I have no debt. I have a Captial One Credit Card and when I applied for that one they approved me for $6,500 and I have had the card for a long time
