I have 5k limit. My other cards combined have 300k limit. I did the increase limit thing on Monday and got a whooping +500. Had to pay the bill early to clear balance, and get instant trade-in discount to put maxed out 14” on it. Couldn’t put Apple Care on it. Those algos they use for credit limit are retarded. And no human being to review.
Very true. Kinda used to iPhone launches. The movement and activity is insane. On the go! It will be interesting to find out how it will all unfold. I know we are getting our laptop a on a Tuesday that’s a given but it’s still nice to be able to track it and follow it’s journey
Sometimes human does review it but it’s mostly relied on the system. I will admit Apple Card credit approval is bogus. They don’t take anything into consideration. As long you have a $0.00 active balance showing and you apply for a credit limit increase you will get approved 99% of the time but if you owe a single dollar you are running a risk.

Yes sir! Talked to Apple manager for 15 minutes. He told me it is out of his hands because the product is really delayed until January. He offered me he can place an order for me and hopes it gets to me sooner… unfortunately that answer was not good enough for me because there is no time line I was given… so he told me it will be escalated above him and they will look into what happened. So, tomorrow I’m getting a call from Apple corporate. All this for dang polishing cloth 😂

Email stated ships in 5-7 business days, with delivery Nov 3 - 5. Here’s to hoping this means I’m getting it earlier.
There definitely was BTO on Oct 26 delivery, I went back and forth on my configuration for a while and as soon as I saw the delivery slip I placed the order. (10:59AM)

You should definitely spend a little time reading this post. This was during iPhone 13 launch. It is worth reading. Trust me… I poured all my hard work, sweat, and heart ❤️ out. I've been waiting for Macs to adopt Apple Silicon and mini/microLED for ages. Last year was a bit disappointing in the sense that they kept the old form factor and no new features (like the screen or the sound, etc). So thought I'd wait one more year. And boy it was worth it! This MacBook represents everything so many of us have been waiting for so long. Just imagine how wonderful the Christmas movies would look in HDR on the new retina XDR display
