iPhones are much difficult to get day 1. If you don't have the configuration you want saved in the Apple Store app and credit card ready you can forget about getting it right away.
Oh I did. This isn’t my first rodeo. I’ve been on the upgrade program for many years and had the approval and pre configuration all completed. I made the order instantly through the app. Yet this time my delivery was 6 weeks later. Definitely don’t want to relive that.

Dude is this what you should be purchasing if you don’t have enough credit?

May I ask what you do for a living?
Not really loving this line of questioning - Apple / Goldman Sachs are notoriously stingy about credit limits and APRs early on in the Apple Card ownership process. I had 800+ FICO and 85k income (no debt) when I applied and they gave me a paltry $5k at 16%. Now I’m up to $17,500 *but* if I still had that initial limit and had a normal month’s purchases posted to the card I probably wouldn’t have been able to put a MBP on it.

Yep. Don’t judge others.

I have a feeling the ? may come from stateside. It’s just weird no one has gotten a UPS label as of yet. Are they all in United States, already? Also, what about the people outside of U.S? How are they getting it delivered?

When will they appear? Desperation is straight to kick in a little.
Anonymous speculation but I'd imagine with the current supply chain issues and apple being a company built on a reputation they've got a certain amount state side. There'd be a PR nightmare if everyone or most missed their delivered by date and blaming covid at this point wouldn't be sufficient since they've had almost two years to prepare. And if they release too early people would get the product before the release date since you can't control the product once it's in the courier hands. US speculation only

I'm guessing by end of day China time (in 5-10 hrs) or tomorrow at the latest. So that way they have Friday + Saturday to get to the US then at least a day for it to arrive on the 26th. Let's make some bets? I'll bet three Apple Polishing Cloth™ it'll be tomorrow 10am-12pm pt :D

I’m thinking you’re going to need more APCs!

Yes. Oddly it doesn't appear in my UPS App on iPhone. It appears on the website but when I click it I get the generic "Tracking information is unavailable" red message.

Custom 16".
Interesting! Maybe it was just scanned. Dang, you are the first person to report that in here.

Yah. iirc UPS doesn’t populate all the tracking info right after a label is created (with FedEx labels the tracing is activate as soon as it’s created. )

So we most likely won’t get it to show up and fully populate until it actually scans (or if it’s a couple hours between label being created and then the scan.

That makes sense. I've been staring all day and it just appeared a few minutes ago so that checks out. I'll have to look in the morning when I go to work and see if it changed!

Does anyone who ordered from Best Buy (shipping not pickup) have any other status other than “Shipping by Friday, October 29”?

Most likely you will see something in the morning because system will show up the tracking info. It just needs some time.

Hey you shared it - just questioning what you shared.

Sorry I’m not following. If your limit is $5k why can’t you make the purchase? Are you carrying a balance?
