Can you please share what exactly are you saying? If your getting that message that means a tracking number has been assigned to you then. Otherwise it doesn’t show anything and you will get a error message.

Are you including the W and then the numbers - the last number, or just the numbers minus the last one? My 14" with a nov 3-5 BTO moved to PFS yesterday but the delivery date hasn't updated yet, and I haven't been able to track by reference yet.

Apple order number starts with W followed by 9-digits (W123456789). Take that W with the 8 digits that follow (W12345678), and go to UPS.com tracking page and click track by reference number. In shipment reference enter your W12345678. And then click Track.

Congrats!! Was your card charged or is it still pending? My laptop has been PFS for a while now but no final charge yet and nothing is coming up on UPS. Expected delivery 10/26

Yes sir! My card was charged but it was charged few days ago. It seems like @darinzook has solved the mystery. Damn, Apple. Apple has informed UPS to not to release the tracking number before Sunday or Monday. So there are restriction set in place. It’s all prohibited.
I was also trying it with my phone number and nothing was showing up but with the order number it does show up.

Atleast yours say on the way lol mine says delivered 😂 they better not deliver my MacBook 💻 to a different address haha! I think it’s just being blocked and there is a glitch in the system. I’m praying Apple gives UPS permission to release them tomorrow! Ugh dude, you just saved me a lot of headache and worry some!
It usually works with the phone number but this time it doesn’t seem the case. I’ve been checking via my phone number and it wasn’t working. Something is def off. The tracking information is all prohibited and Apple has told UPS not to release any info. I wonder what happens if you call UPS and if they are able to give you a full tracking number 😂
It looks like the limited tracking number information is actually a UPS change and not at the direction of Apple. For those who have tracking numbers, did you get your full tracking number by reference or only by MyChoice?
Thinking about calling UPS and giving them the order number and telling them I have a reference number. Can you please provide me with a full tracking number. 😂 wonder if this trick will work.

Interesting! My package shows wether I use my phone number or your method (I get a package with the same last 4 digits). So, so far we can check
- Phone number
- Phone number preceded by "1"
- Order number with the last digit taken out
Correct! I hate this feature from UPS. They started to introduce it last year during iPhone 12 launch. Something big had happened in the past. Not sure why they introduce this and implemented it as security feature. But it’s annoying.
