Interesting... I just got an email from Applecare+ telling me that my warranty expires October 25th 2024. So that must mean my computer is coming Tuesday 26th. That's BTO as well that had an original ship date of Oct 28th to Nov 1st.

Apple may start declaring the laptops as "Shipped" once they've left Apple's distribution hub (Louisville). I think others have mentioned this but maybe base configs have already been stateside for a few weeks and the initial batch of custom configs had to come from China. Keep in mind those of us with My Choice shipping labels from China still have "Preparing For Shipping" in the Apple tracking page, nobody in the US has "Shipped" yet.
Apple could seriously ship those stateside base configs on Sunday night or Monday morning and they would probably still arrive on Tuesday. You might be waiting for tracking info well into Monday morning.

I believe once an import scan in KY hits that’s when Apple declares the shipped status from the official Apple website. You also get an email as well.
Also, I hope to god Apple doesn’t wait till Monday to ship out the 💻 it’s so last minute.
I agree but the custom config 💻 were delayed until 1st or 2nd week of November. I have no idea how some people were able to obtain shipment status.

Simple. Head over to FlightAware, look up PANC (the ICAO code for Anchorage), and find the UPS flight that left at 3:19pm local time. That will be your flight, and should tell you the destination.

Australian pals, my 14” BTO shipped last night. Only scan thus far is picked up (China).
Still rocking ETA date of 3rd Nov, hoping it arrives this week.
Will wait and see ?.
Also worth noting is the order is shipping with DHL. Not sure who will handle it once it arrives in Australia, hopefully it stays with DHL as AusPost has been ridiculously slow in recent months.

So I have this theory, BTO Macs and some stock models are being drop shipped from china.
I think most of the stock models are in the US. They will be processed either tomm or Monday and sent overnight. Mine just needs the charger swapped to 96W which I believe can be done here in the states.

Australian preorder update here. 14” BTO with a 28/10 delivery date. Just got charged and has moved to “Preparing to Ship”.
Spoke to Apple Support yesterday and they mentioned that it will be shipping from Sydney so (my order at least) is not coming direct from China.

Sweet, same for me, also got charged this morning and updated to PTS, same* delivery date - 16" M1 Max stock build.
so that means that they already had those ready to ship in sydney, i bet its like that all over the world. They had to know this was going to be a high demand item, cant wait till monday to ship out hundreds of thousands of orders out of china!
