The rounded corners on the screen look so good. The notch is here to stay for some time and I really don't mind! I just hope this laptop isn't too "thick" feeling. It looks so much bulkier in the leaked unboxings.

Came in from working in the shop all day. Nice to see my MBP has left Anchorage. Read through all the back posts. All I can say is the ‘Ignore’ feature is pretty nice 😊

If you’re in the US, from past preorders I recall some of the deliveries can come from inside the US, in which case you won’t see movement until probably like tomorrow

My 26th BTO is still PFS and no my choice (but shows up when I look up reference). I'm starting to think that maybe some custom configs are stateside also? The common ones with specific ram and CPU upgrades.

Also, @darinzook any new updates? Have the dates changed and/or has my choice updated?

I have to stop refreshing my order status because it's driving me nuts. For the record, no movement on my Nov. 10-17 order. I'm just going to accept that this won't change and my MBP will come on Nov. 17. It is like being a wizard: "A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to."

To everyone else who will get theirs on Oct. 26: have fun for us.

I love how they did it. They rounded the top where no content will be lost, and when viewing fullscreen apps (i.e. without menu bar) the top and bottom black out and match in height, giving a nice symmetrical design.

Oof it's getting so late now. I saw the 9to5 article @TheYayAreaLiving shared where some people are getting Dec 23...

I looked at the same article and wow, although I’m wondering if those Dec 23 group are the maxed out BTOs. I got the base 16”/1tb but I didn’t order until earlier today, so I’m not surprised with my dates. I’m still using my Mini so I can patiently/impatiently wait until it arrives.

No update. Sitting at PTS since last night. Still Nov 3-5 timeframe, only the pending charge (pre-auth) on AppleCard from Monday still. If I punch in order number without last digit as a reference number, it does show up in UPS system (assuming this is it), but with no estimated delivery date. I’m hopeful to see movement tomorrow with an updated delivery for this week. 🤞🏻

No no. ? nothing in MyChoice. Used the Apple order number as the UPS Reference number and punched it in with the last digit removed. It’s in the system, just with no delivery date. It says to check back tomorrow for updates. ??‍♂️

It does seem bulkier but as long the battery life will lasts all day and the performance is there. The Bulkiness will do it.
