But considering the sheer number of us in “Preparing to Ship” with indication we’re further ahead than that, I have a suspicion there are going to be a boatload of us moving at one time by this time tomorrow. which MacBook pro to buy I want the 14 inch base one but not sure of it will fit I need it because I'm doing cyber security for my university and I trade in my MacBook pro 2019 16 inch I'm getting 1210 for it plus 177 for the apple care plus which model should i get ?

is 16gb ram enough and 512 GB ssd i have i cloud storage ?

16GB is probably okay but at this point I'd say 1TB is the minimum for the SSD

Like has been speculated in this thread, with the overseas logistical issues going on Apple would have not been in a great place if all of these were still outside the US

I agree especially with iPhone and Apple launches. Both products were also delayed because people were stuck in China for 4-5 days. By having them stored in an Apple logistic warehouse in U.S. Apple saved itself the stress and time. The mastermind! 🍎

Good point. But I'm hoping we barely have to charge our MacBook Pro now. Since the battery life is insane. All of a sudden that $99.00 price for a charger is too steep. Oh well, doesn't hurt to keep an extra pair. Who knows... In the future, Apple may stop providing charger with a Mac.

Gotta love working for a company where they don't care if we return the charger with our old laptops. Now if only I can get them to replace my MBP16" i9 with the M1 Max...

My Nov 5-10 order was just charged a few hours ago. It got hit with fraud prevention from my bank (I resolved that) but the interesting thing is being charged so early. Everything else I've ever ordered has been charged as it was just getting ready to ship so maybe I'll get mine a little earlier than expected!

I also am curious as to why you ordered a second Magsafe charger. You know one is included with your MBP, right?

I love having more than one because I’m lazy and don’t want to constantly unplug it and move it. But, I’m hoping the battery life will just be so amazing I never ever have to charge it. I won’t even have to use the one that comes with it

Don't know but this was a nice jolt of "NOOOOOO" for my Sunday. I resolved the issue and now I'm just waiting on them to try it again.

No charge for my 5-10 order yet, though I keep checking every few hours ?. It’s amazing how excited we can all get about a huge charge hitting our cards!
