My order shipped yesterday but the charge is still pending on my CC. Don't sweat it, PTS means Apple has the funds so you're good.
I don't think they can complete the transaction until it ships so that your monthly installments start on the month. I have a Nov ship date as well and I purchased in Oct. I would expect installment #1 to start in Nov when it ships instead of in Oct.
Nothing. Not been charged. Nada. They screwed this up and they’re saying on the phone it’s “supply chain issues” and “COVID-related.” I placed the order for the MBP and AirPods within 2 minutes after the store went up. Jokers…
No movement yet and I won’t be able to check for ISPU until 5-5:30am tomorrow. I’ve take @Boardiesboi’s advice and have my configuration in my cart just so that I can continually refresh ?. Hoping that we both have awesome luck tomorrow!
I've never had a signature request for UPS. It might be my area though. I am unaware of any package thefts in our HOA neighborhood in the past 35 years.

That's a great call. Starting out fresh is always the best way. That is why I don't sell my old Mac's, LOL
My main system is an M1 mini and I think that I'll leave it that way for now. It's always plugged in to three Time Machine disks (though only one backup at a time). I've not figured out what I'm going to do with the MacBook Pro though I'm thinking of setting it up to replace my Windows desktop as an experiment. It will be nice having so much computing power to figure out my setup.

UPS has shipping hubs in Ontario (CA), Anchorage (AK), Louisville (KY) and Memphis (TN) so one can expect their machine to come from any of those points, to be honest, as I expect UPS has flights from China to each of them.

Ok so I looked on the apple Canada website to order what I posted above and it had a November 24th shipping date. I went tothe best buy site and ordered it . It says it will be delivered by tomorrow. I'm pretty sure it won't be . Is that to good to be true ?
That’s smart. If the new M1 works really well as your desktop and the programs/software you use on it has equivalent for the M1, you can retire your Windows machine. Or, do you think you’ll still hang onto it?

UPS is now requiring sigs for packages from apple, even if they didn't have it marked as such. It depends on the local distribution center, but don't be surprised if they 'add' it. And if they do, there's no way to pre-sign for it, or even sign for it afterwards. They now take it to a UPS store by the end of the next business day and you go pick it up there.
I kinda understand it - porch pirates know when there's a launch day, but still, not notifying customers, not having a way to pre-sign for it, and especially not redelivering it all suck. So if this happens to you, and you don't get there by closing time, it'll be thursday before you get your hands on it.
That's how I roll with every iPhone because I enjoy the freshness!

Best Buy's site is a MESS when it comes to preorders. It'll be November 24, almost certainly. I mean look at what Best Buy says for AirPods preorders! Idiotic...

It's an i7-10700 with 128 GB RAM and 5 TB SSD. It won't be retired but I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. It's the Home NAS right now though it's a bit overconfigured for that. The system has a lot of cooling capacity and it's cool and quiet. I might put it on my other desk just for experiments where x86 is required. I had considered replacing it with an M1 Pro mini but I have the MacBook Pro now and I'll see if it would work out. I really want to use it when mobile but would love to run the experiment to scope out how an M1 Pro or Max mini would run.
