Literally, the #1 reason why I decided to splurge on this device....MagSafe is soooo much better than USB-C charging and the 3rd party solutions out there that replicate MagSafe just take up 1 of those 2 or 4 USB-C ports which could be used for connecting to another accessory...

First I’ve ever heard of her…I guess I am 15 years late to the party. I watched a couple of minutes and didn’t learn anything other than “wow” about the speaker grilles on the 16”

It looks like MagSafe is silver. It would match well with the color silver?

Not so nice: my review unit MacBook Pro is Space Gray, but the aluminum MagSafe connector is silver. It would have been a nice touch to color coordinate them, like the braided Lightning and power cables that ship with the 24-inch M1 iMacs.

Whatever happened to this rumor lol. Hopefully new iPhone 14 will carry the braided cable. It looks very nice on a 💻 it’s time Apple gets rid of the old flimsy looking cables.

They must have had dedicated stock for Singapore, as the ordering didn't go live until like 2 days after the rest of the world (rumor is RF certification delays), but was still able to score launch day arrival.

My baby just arrived. 3.5lbs, 14.2 inches tall. Now beginning a long migration process. Thanks to DHL for delivering before 9AM!

A matte black would be ideal. I don’t know why Apple isn’t introducing it. But I guess Apple wants to just keep it as classy as possible. Flagship colors.

Or...they just can't justify the cost of producing this color option on such a high volume device - case in point: the jet black version of the iPhone 7 (?) only lasted 1 year and didn't carry over.

Or maybe they just couldn't come up with the color on this big device...

Someone posted a picture of the Apple polishing cloth. Even the packaging is very ohhhh, ahhhh!

Oh yeah! It’s definitely premium, exclusive and limited edition. Straight up!

I’ve had my M1 MBP in a case since day 1 and will be doing this. Solid advice.
