You starting new on the new MacBook or moving everything over?
How much stuff do you have on your current MacBook that you don’t need? 😂
Starting out fresh since im out of grad school but that 1TB is another hard flex though..
Also, we don’t know when Apple will release a new 💻.I doubt it’ll be next year 💻
No one is going to see that you have that 1TB flex 😂 unless you show them your storage. 😂
Flexing doesn’t come cheap.🤦♂️😂
If you’re starting new, stick with 512gb, if not maybe consider the 1TB model.
If it was me and I was starting off fresh with the machine, I’d stick with 512gb.
I know you though lol, you really want to flex, treat yourself to the extra ram instead. 🤦♂️😂
Thanks! I might just stick with 512GB and upgrade RAM. Them safari browser tabs takes a lot of Power. It drains the battery real quick.

Yep, soon as you pick extra ram or a bigger SSD, you’re looking at a extra 2-3 week for delivery.
Oh heck no! Sounds like I’m ordering a base model with maxed out option.
I may order 2 💻 one customize order and one by default spec’s. Whichever one gives me an early delivery date.

Base model will be plenty, more than we need really, these M series chips are tanks, watch these videos. 😍
You will not be able to get the machine to slow down.
Get the base model, 16gb ram.
Crazy year. This Christmas my other young’un is going to get (what will be) my 3 month old temporary phone, so I’m planning on finally getting my 13PM. Probably around my b’day (not that I celebrate those anymore!). Then I’ll be joining y’all on the photos forum.
Maybe I’ll continue my watch photos, Part 2.
So far, the only applething I bought this year is the mini6 last week at Best Buy (in Starlight). And it ROCKS! 🤠

Is it true then, that it’ll take 2-3 weeks if you want more RAM? I can probably get by with 16GB but some of my audio/video work at times gets really intense plus, buying for the long run.
Unless you’re a professional, most people won’t need anything more than the base model, M1X and 16gb ram is overkill for general use.

Ahhh! Happy to hear that you are finally upgrading. It’s so worth it. I told you to upgrade right away back in September. Too bad it is back ordered and delayed and there is a chip shortage as well. I spend over $1800 on this iPhone and it’s worth every penny. It’s a total beast!
