YAY!!! Was able to find my 16" configuration on Apple's store this morning for a courier delivery between 11a - 1p. ??? Cancelled my 11/23-12/1 order, now all is well in the world. ?

If you can afford it, do it, especially if you’re on an Intel Mac.
My rationale for trading in my 2018 15” is that Intel Macs are a dead end, will only lose more value as time goes on, and don’t perform that great anyway… It was $1700 for me to upgrade to the new 16” - a no brainer for me.
Canceled my original order delivering Nov 5-10.

I dislike external storage.
Just moved to preparing for shipment. Still says nov 5th to 10th but hopefully get it sooner!
If I had an Intel, I would without a doubt. But, my M1 Air is just wonderful. Ugh!
My 2019 MacBook sounds like it's getting ready for take off, with that non-stop fan whizzing around.
The deciding factor for me was my 2014 can’t upgrade to Monterrey. That choice by Apple pretty much forced my hand to upgrade haha.
I upgraded my 2014 MacBook Pro to Monterey Beta 1 or 2 and it ran fine. I used OCLP - directions are in the Monterey forum.
Cancelled my original Nov 2-9 order and Re-ordered my 16" base M1 Max with courier delivery for today! LFGGGGG
Based on the price, I am guessing 16" 16g 1TB. Did I get it right?
Anyone know if the wireless Apple magic keyboard has the same typing feel as the magic keyboards on the Macbook Pro?

Well, my Nov. 3-5 delivery got moved up to Nov. 1. Not a whole lot, but earlier, so that's good.
Why not place the order for pickup, once ready cancel the Nov 2-7 order?

I felt bad all day (8h now) that I can’t cancel my MacBook preorder anymore to get one for pick up at the Apple Store today but I didn’t check stock availability for the faster charger… and there is no stock for the upgraded charger… so I don’t have to feel bad…
I feel way better now… and can enjoy all of the happiness of all those posters who get a Mac today…
Since this has just gone live, whatever estimates Apple has on its site is correct. I cancelled my 11/23-12/1 order and placed an order for courier delivery today between 11a-1p. Go for it!
