Hard flex with the display pic 😳😂👌

I was on mine for most of the day yesterday and this morning, I’ll be firing it back up tonight lol.

It’s a beast of a machine, enjoy it.

Wonder when my cousin is going to pickup this MacBook, does he think I’m running a apple store over here. 🤔🤦‍♂️

I’m half tempted to ditch my order for the 14” 32gb/1tb Max and go pick up a stock Pro and ‘live’ with 16gb Ram. I can go pick that up today!

Probably way overspecced my BTO and the saving could pay for a new monitor!

But the FOMO on the max is huge!

Does anyone keep finding my mac on? It seems that my mac is constantly using location services just for that, and my M1 battery life has been going down now and then. I am sure the indexing is done by now since I did migration assistant.

I nearly had a crisis on my hands today.

New 14" MBP was out on the truck for delivery and I spot checked the follow me map every so often on the UPS app. Driver shows up and delivers a big box of something else I ordered for my business. I always have the same driver. He acknowledges me and shows me on his handheld that a high value signature required item was supposed to be delivered as well but it wasn't anywhere on the truck that he could see. Tracking info shows that the pre-loading crew at the distribution center put it on the truck at 4:30am but he can't find it. He says it might be hidden somewhere in the vehicle and if he finds it he'll come back, then off he goes.

I'm not blaming him but at this point I don't know what to think or feel. I only think of the worst case scenario that it was stolen and a claim will have to be put in and Apple will get involved, who knows when I would get my new toy! I'm desperately wanting this thing and decide to buy one for pickup at the nearby Apple Store. They might run out and I have no idea how quickly the missing one would be replaced or dealt with. I get charged and the pickup confirmation email comes through. The UPS app shows the package still out for delivery until 7pm.

A few hours later I go back to working on a project in another room. Afterward I come back to my office area and check the status from UPS. I check the follow me map and it now says it was delivered and thus it won't show the map anymore, but the tracking details still only say out for delivery. What in the actual F$@%!

At this point I think someone at UPS is playing games and actually stole it. I'm thinking the worst about my driver. How could he do this to me? I've known him for years through dozens and dozens of deliveries. I'm pissed.

I turn around and there's the box from UPS sitting on a table. The driver found it and came back, and one of my people signed for it while I was in the other room. She went out front to look for me but I came in through the back so we missed each other. I check the UPS status and now the tracking details are updated showing the delivery time and her signature.

Crisis averted.

I still can't believe what happened to your Mac. I wonder what they do to it? Did they drop it or what? That's wild. Craziest stories I have heard in this thread. Honestly :(

You might be waiting till next week lol, honestly, I’d like it a tad thinner while keeping the same battery life, fix promotion.

BRING BACK THE DAMN TOUCH BAR!!! 🤬🥺
