Blooming was never a problem on my iPad Pro in normal use.

I checked the flight schedule and saw that there is a 2:20pm and a 3pm flight out of Memphis to LAX tomorrow (I’m in SoCal), given the flight from Japan should arrive at around 3am, am I being too optimistic that it will clear customs and get on one of those flights to me?

Still installing software I need, still configuring SSH keys, still configuring everything from scratch. This will take me a while.
I will say the screen doesn't have massive ghosting or blooming issues. I thought I would notice it more. The blooming is acceptable, worth the tradeoff. The ghosting is no worse than my current MBP so no big deal. Overall this is an amazing machine.
I'm installing homebrew software at the same time as AirDropping files from my previous Mac over. The old Mac is hot and fans are spinning like a prop plane. The M1 Max machine is completely silent and barely warm to the touch. Incredible. Homebrew scripts are installing so quickly. This chip is a miracle so far.
