Your package is in transit. We're updating plans to schedule your delivery. / The package will be forwarded to a UPS facility in the destination city.

Does this mean that the shipment departed ?
My last update was 11/1 at 5:20pm that it departed ZhengZhou. Haven’t heard anything else besides that 😞

No change in my shipping status since midday yesterday: Still sitting around in ZZ, waiting for clearance. This is three straight days now without even a delivery estimate available.

When I received the shipping notice from Apple, its date was Nov. 9, as opposed to UPS' now laughably optimistic Nov. 3. In the end, I think it's going to end up being the 9th, after all. God forbid it should be later than that. 🙁

You know what sucks about this the most? I've had the trade-in box since Saturday. I've been holding off on sending it in until I get some indication that the computer is crossing the Pacific, but the clock is ticking.

Also, my AppleCare+ coverage is provided on an October 30 anniversary date, on a machine I'm not even likely to see for another week. It's not the first time I feel like I'm being deprived of some coverage unfairly, but this is by far the longest delay I've seen on a CTO order from Apple.

That’s exactly what mine says. Uncertain if it actually left or ever arrived. I’ll find out tomorrow I suppose

wow… thats kind of depressing…
I hope it starts to move soon!

But I’d say give apple a call…
AppleCare isn’t supposed to have started before you get your MacBook… and I’d also try to extend your deadline for the trade in…

Woo looks like you were right!! 🎉

I guess they added that extra delayed scan in there this morning just to mess with me a little 😆
Woo hoo! Today is your day! You will be amazed. Can’t wait till your 💻 arrives :) early congratulations to you!!!

I also got Space Grey and kind of wonder if I should have gone for the silver. Mainly because all the photos of the silver remind me a bit of my first Mac, the Powerbook G4.

But after all the drama of the delayed deliveries this year I don’t want to deal with returning and trying to get another, so I’m sure I’ll be happy with SG 😂.
I decided to keep a silver one because it is so retro. Reminds me of the PowerBook G4 like you said. However you can’t go wrong with the space gray. You can also check your local Apple store and see if you can swap it out?

Plenty of scans incoming which are delayed. Stay positive and hopefully you will see a movement soon. Hang in there :)

Should still be in ZZ based on your update. You will either see a "Departed from Facility" scan similar to when it left Shanghai, or maybe even just an arrival scan in Korea or Anchorage...seems UPS is just in a havoc with all the rushes and I'm sure they are trying to respond to Apple in this whole botched delivery thing for all the Launch day orders and such.

Apple is double-dealing in this. They also told me Nov 3, for several days now. On the one hand, they say “it’s up to UPS” but then when I asked them to explain how my lost time off work today should not be compensated, they say “oh our date is Nov 9”. If UPS did attempt delivery of the package today and I was only available to receive it on the 9th, how would that go over? I’d never get the computer.

I get the supply chain problems, but instead of explaining that, they just get evasive. Training has obviously suffered a lot and the people on the phones now are nowhere near the quality that one used to be able to expect.

He can and he can. Calked Apple, when mine arrives I am to call and the 14 days starts from that time and AC+ needs corrected. Just call after it lands on your doorstep.

UPS claims it's still coming today, but either it missed a scan or it's stuck in Alaska.

Took @bradl suggestion and stayed up and listened to Alaska Air Traffic Control tower last night 😄

[Going to @Goldfire @quomaru @nyctravis pallet buddies]

I heard PANC clear UPS89 and UPS91 early this morning to land 🤓 UPS89 departed after UPS91 from Incheon, Korea but ended up landing first in Alaska and did not fly to Kentucky, it's already flown back to Korea to start another round. My guess is whatever cargo they have is transferred to another UPS flight.

UPS91 has already left Alaska and landed in Kentucky. I don't think UPS is updating tracking? I just can't imagine them unloading and leaving an entire airplane worth of cargo of Apple Products headed for Kentucky in Alaska, just to reload it with different cargo with the same destination? 🥲

UPS also shows two departures from Incheon, Korea for me: 8:25am and 10:13am. Not sure what 10:13am is about, that wasn't there last night and only appeared after Alaska arrival update:

My tracking still says that it's going to be delivered by 7PM tonight. I'm skeptical lol

There's been no UPS flights to my city's hub from Kentucky. The earliest UPS flight from Kentucky is about to leave in 1hr 30mins. If my order is on that plane, it'll land by 4:43pm and the truck driver would only have from 5-8pm to make the delivery? That seems so rushed. There are 4 other UPS flights with various departure times to my city hub, but that would more than likely result in a Nov 4th Delivery.

I would be surprised if UPS made it to my house by 7PM tonight 😆

Feel free to use this search function here to find all flights from UPS from Kentucky to your city hubs, just make sure to change the origin and destination entries (edit: also note departure times, that it matches UPS91's KSDF arrival times 😵‍💫):

Still waiting over here! Has not shipped yet. Arrives 22nd - 30th is the current estimate.

I have two orders. One made on launch day (at night) and another made the next day (morning). My second order is on it's way here. My first order has a Nov 10-17 arrival date, and has not shipped yet LOL

Wow, thanks for all that. That search tool is super handy. How long is the normal processing time when things are running smoothly? It seems like it must be at least an hour or two.

Where did you listen to Alaska Air Traffic Control? I'd be interested in listening to that even though my Macbook is still stuck in ZhengZhou.:rolleyes:
