Yes, correct. The MBP only sees a chain of hubs, one of the devices on this particular hub is the ethernet port.
Three things that make me a bit sad.....
1 - I still can't get an ? polishing cloth. I would love to get one, but I can't find one. So I'm settling on 150 grit sandpaper.
2 - We should have our own dedicated thread as a general discussion of the MacBook Pro. This channel is being burdened with the off-topic conversations, and we could have a blast on our own thread. Just sayin.
3 - I just ran out of beer.

So I was at the Apple Store yesterday to check them out. Looks like not even all Apple apps are updated to use ProMotion? It's definitely not in Safari. I think it's in News and Music, and the system itself. Interested to see how long before they fix all that. And then third party apps.

Do these MBPs support spatial audio with Disney+ and Netflix in Safari? I don't think so as Disney+ and Netflix only support it on iOS and iPadOS? But then I heard with M1 Macs you get spatial audio support on Monterey (or even Big Sur, can't remember), which I assume it's just with the Apple TV+ app at this stage?
