Whelp....I placed an order yesterday, Nov. 8, for a 16" M1Pro 32GB 1TB. Estimated ship date Dec 17-24.

For the past year+, in anticipation of these AS MBPs, I had planned to not purchase until Fall 2022 (I was assuming a first revision would be released by then). However, my trusty ol' mid-2014 15" MBP just isn't going to make it. It recently developed trackpad issues (I think underlying cause is a battery that has started swelling). I usually avoid 1st gen electronics in general, but it just can't be helped in this particular. case. The 2014 MBP gave me TONS of use, and I squeezed every last ounce of value out of this machine.

Huh, was bored so went to look at my order and arrival date has already improved by a few days. Now showing as Dec 13-20. So I suppose all I need to do is keep checking the next couple days and I should expect this bad boy in my hands by end of next week? ?

I haven't regretted exchanging the wonderful 14" MBP for this beautiful 16" MBP. She just feels all around RIGHT!

I can see that this would be an issue for a lot of people. I think someone said earlier that the best way to remove the MagSafe was to disconnect with a side or down angle but not straight out. This is going to be interesting.

Congrats! When did you place your order? I ordered the 16" M1 Max with 64GB RAM and 4TB SSD as well on October 18th about 15 minutes after the keynote ended with a November 10-17 delivery date. My order has not moved from "Processing" since it was placed. I know on another thread there were a couple of us with this configuration in the same boat so hopefully yours is a sign of some movement for all of us.

Ok, so I'm not the only one. Ordered the 16" M1 Max 64GB 4TB SSD. I ordered it later than 15 min after the keynote, but got the Nov 17-19 delivery and been in "Processing" ever since. I wonder if it's the configuration?

Ooops! Well, I was trying to help people save money in case they do go down that road.😬 I won't be getting one.

I did just get the Belkin MagSafe car vent holder (cause of my 13PM), and now I lost $7 on this sale. I also am getting off the wireless charging for the 13PM...going back to the 5W lighting cable charger. My 13PM is also at 99% battery health from launch day and I've been taking it easy on plugging it in...had a Mophie wireless pad for nightstand charging while I sleep - no more!
