I don’t know where Goldman Sacs is getting their info when we are continuously seeing posts about dates being pushed out even further. I’m seeing in some instances where delivery dates are into January 2022.
over on the uk thread I've been tracking orders, dates, status changes etc and a lot of orders are arriving to people a good week before the early end of their estimated window.. that small sample seems to imply things are moving quicker than they estimated.

Wow, that’s awesome for you guys! In this thread, there are several whose dates have been pushed back and then others who keep getting multiple push back delivery dates.

I‘m really glad that the uk thread is not experiencing push back delivery dates.

Same estimate. From other date ranges, seems that such may go to preparing to ship sometime next week.
from the sample I've been tracking on the UK thread orders up to the 30th nov - 7th Dec have now had movement in their orders. The next window was 3rd-10th Dec (which happens to be my order) and yes, it looks like there should be an update in the next 7 days or so based on the others

The tracking I got from Apple is UPS ground from Bethlehem, PA
Should I be concerned that I am getting a returned item since it is not shipping from China?

WHAT SERIOUSLY!! What is your config for the macbook?
Sadly, it is. I'm not sure if it's some kind of error or something else as I ordered the morning of Oct 19th with late November delivery date given at the time. It is a 16" Max/64GB/4TB. I e-mailed about it and got no good explanation apart from the rep putting this in priority production list, which he said it should make it a bit quicker but there was no concrete date given. Very sad day... ?

Yeah that is absolutely RIDICULOUS. Id call and demand some kind of compensation or something(I know its apple but if this were best buy or something like that they would give you a discount off of the item if its delayed especially by THAT long a period of time) I ordered the 14 inch macbook pro just the regular config, mine says nov 24th through dec 2nd, still no charge or anything like that..I only ordered it after apple announced the extended holiday return, so hopefully they dont screw me over either..Id give them a call to see what is going on

I was originally scheduled for Dec 1-9 and received my shipment notification today.
I was originally scheduled for Dec 1-8, MBP shipped 11/11 via UPS, now stuck in China since 11/12. No sign of movement. UPS had been claiming 11/17 as delivery date. Today (11/17) they now say “delivery date will be provided as soon as possible.” Apple has been giving delivery date as Nov 23. Bottom line, these days delivery estimates have no meaning.

Yeah, I might call tomorrow if it doesn't change by the morning. We shall see, I am quite disappointed obviously.

Yeah Id call and at least offer you some kind of compensation I can understand a one week delay maybe two, fine I can understand that, but literally 2 months, thats totally unacceptable

I think Fedex has mine but just waiting for it to clear customs since its still is in China I was hoping it would of been in the states soon, since it was shipped yesterday

Well I decided to cancel my order from Apple.com... because check out what they had in store!

Exact spec I wanted down to the color: 16", Silver, M1 Max 32 core, 32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD. Only had to sit in traffic for an hour to get it but it was sooooo worth it. The keyboard is *lightyears* better than my 2018. Needless to say I am very very happy.

Congratulations!!! 🤩🥳 Some things are just worth it, and that MBP definitely was. I hope that you enjoy it. 😁

Thank you! I am enjoying it right now. It was not cheap but it's amazing. I have been using it for doing some school assignments and it's dropped a whopping 1%. My 2018 would be down at least 8% by now.
