still in China and and this is what it still says - looks like its waiting for Customs, I talked to apple couple days ago and said it would be shipped out on the 20th or 21st and they confirm it would be here Nov.26, but it shipped out on Nov. 16View attachment 1913199View attachment 1913200
Hopefully, you get assigned a delivery date soon. It's so close hang in there.

No you should not be concerned. My first one on launch day was from PA. They have a massive warehouse in PA (I think for more locations nearest the northeast). Just means your shipping will be faster, be grateful! Apple does not give refurbished items as new.
I was concerned as I ordered the M1Max 16.2 with 64GB and 4TB version. (thought all shipped from China when you add options) Thanks for the info.

It just depends if Apple has some stock in PA, then mainly anyone on the east coast will probably have it delivered from PA- but if they are completely out of stock for certain configs then they do come directly from China

Disappointing news for me this morning. My tracking on UPS has shown a delivery date of today since it left Korea a few days ago. My computer made it to Anchorage on Tuesday, 11/16 at 10:10pm local time. Yesterday I used FlightAware to watch about 9 flights ranging from early in the morning to later in the day from Anchorage to Louisville with my shipment not receiving any scan indicating it left Anchorage until the last 1 or 2 flights (they took off so close together I’m not sure which one it was on). Hope was still alive as it reach Louisville at 1:21am and I saw there was a flight from Louisville to my local airport that left around 4:00am and landed in what should’ve been time to still get on a truck for delivery today. However, I woke up to find an import scan, but no departure scan. My tracking still says delivery today, but that obviously won’t happen if it hasn’t left Louisville unless they are just missing a bunch of scans, which I don’t believe to be the case. It also looks like the next possible flight from Louisville will not arrive until tonight so going to pick it up today will not be an option either. So while it’s just one more day of waiting it’s still disappointing since it sat in Alaska for such a long time and didn’t get on any of the earlier flights, especially after the long delay sitting in China. I guess I’ll just be happy that I should get it tomorrow in time for the weekend. For reference, I ordered about 15 minutes after the end of the keynote and originally had a delivery window of November 10-17th.

One interesting note, if I look at tracking using the UPS website the delivery says today by 9:00pm, but as you can see below, when I look through the UPS app on my iPhone or iPad it says today by 7:00pm. Interesting there are two different times depending where you look. Of course it’s meaningless since it’s not coming today, but still interesting.

I was originally scheduled for Dec 1-8, MBP shipped 11/11 via UPS, now stuck in China since 11/12. No sign of movement. UPS had been claiming 11/17 as delivery date. Today (11/17) they now say “delivery date will be provided as soon as possible.” Apple has been giving delivery date as Nov 23. Bottom line, these days delivery estimates have no meaning.
I've been seeing this reported by others on here with UPS. Interestingly, Apple used DHL for my shipment. I'm curious if they know of issues with other shipping providers and they are switching to others?

That is what the FedEX website - I did have a a apple product delivered from there before, and it was delivered to me it almost looks like if people choose standard delivery the car being delivered by FedEx and if you have express its being delivered by UPS. Anyone have a UPS order and where dose UPS says its coming from?
Mine shipped immediately out of China, only to now be stuck in Memphis purgatory... should've driven over there and picked it up Monday. 5 days just abandoned in a warehouse.

It looks like it may be delivered tomorrow?

I am wondering whether it is the higher spec MBPros or is it all versions? Mine too is the !6" 64GB/4TB SSD version ordered 2 minutes after ordering was enabled (timed at 14:02 US CDT, 12:02 PDT). At the time the 4TB versions had shorter delivery times than the 2 TB version, but now deliveries are being pushed out by quite large amounts which is a significant and unusual miss for Apple. Since they have not shipped, it has to be a manufacturing issue. The only positive thing from Apple today was the fact that my Watch 7 has shipped (Graphite SS, Black Milanese loop).

Reading all these reviews and comments on the new machines is rather frustrating when you cannot even buy the machines to try them out yourself. I noted that all the 3rd party suppliers are in the same boat with virtually every configuration on back order (I saw 1 silver 16GB, 256GB 16" at Adorama, if I remember correctly). The only versions I ever saw available were the base versions (16GB/256GBSSD M1 Pro) which begs the question as to why Apple initially stocked up on the base versions only.

We watch and wait.
So they have now taken my money and at least it is preparing to ship (17 Nov 2021). Estimated delivery still shows 26 - 30 November, so I could still be waiting another 13 days for delivery. But this seems to be the reality of the current world in which we live.

Given the comments in this thread, Apple are having a lot of issues getting these machines out to customers. As noted it is almost impossible to order a machine to arrive before the 2021 holiday season and most are into next year as a result. This is not good for Apple as well as being frustrating for the customers anxiously awaiting their new machines. I know that when I am asked whether the new Pro laptops are worth buying, I point out a) I do not really know as I have not used one myself, b) you cannot actually buy one for delivery this year and c), unless you have really demanding applications, the MBA or 13" MBPro may be a better choice and if you do have demanding applications go for the 2020 iMac i9 machine (if you do not need a laptop). These last three machines are ones you can actually buy!

From my own perspective I need the new laptop to be delivered before the end of the year, otherwise I would cancel and wait until sometime next year as I have a perfectly comfortable and usable 2019 i9 64GB/4TB SSD machine I can use. I just wanted the new machine to test out new software and get the so called improvements in video and photo processing. I do a lot of heavy lifting for photography work and compiling and debugging code. But I can wait, if I had to. Not the same for everyone here I would guess, but the delivery issues and lack of availability are a severe hindrance to measuring the success of these new machines.

Ugh. Why didn't I order this configuration in the first place! Now I have been waiting another month to get it! Returned my first...........patience.....patience....patience....

Anyone else in this date range see any movement yet?????????

I ordered a 16" M1 Pro 1TB 32GB evening of Nov 8. Initially it showed anticipated arrival of Dec 17-24. Less than 24 hours later, that improved to Dec 13-20. A couple days ago, it improved once again to Dec 9-16. No other changes for me; still in processing.

Well stated Sir

Well, spoke to Apple about my months-long delay and apparently some kind of a glitch in the system caused my order placed on Oct 19 to move to the back of the queue as if it was a new order. Apparently, placing it in priority queue should resolve the issue for the most part. We shall see I guess, but I won't know until I get the shipping notice as the on-line tracker is not priority-aware. Apparently, this is not the first time this has happened. Here's hoping it ships sooner rather than later, but it certainly won't make my promised date of Nov 25. Sigh...
