I’m hoping delivery is faster than they say. Apple is saying by next Friday dec 3. That long?!?!?!

Same, and as it seems both of ours were on the same flight, possibly both In Transit in SENNAN-SHI as of 5:24 AM. With all that's going on, maybe we cannot really know what's gonna happen per day. It could get stuck anywhere anytime, or perhaps FedEx may try to compensate in different ways. I don't know.

Yet this is new: scheduled delivery Monday, 11/29/2021 before 1:00 pm.

Anyone have something like this after getting UPS tracking info? Its about 24 hours i have the tracking number.
As well spoke to apple support. They said it was the correct tracking info and that the package was coming from US and not China. I live in Montreal, Canada

Normally gets updated in 24-48 hours. Maybe it will update overnight

I have exactly this. The highlighted part just means that the shipment has been give a status of “release” by customs. This means that when the shipment arrives in Cincinnati it’ll already be ready for shipping to the destination.

The status can be given even when the shipment is still in China. It took 3 days for my package to get from Shanghai to Ohio (though it looked like it was there 3 days prior).

Now the both of us will have to wait until Monday when DHL decides to start working again.

I have the same issue. Mine has been sitting in Shanghai since Saturday, even though the DHL tracking says it has received a release from US customs in Cincinnati.

The good news for me is that my previous Dec 8 - Dec 15 delivery date changed to November 29 once the package moved to “shipped” on Saturday. So even if it doesn’t arrive until the 29th, that’s still a big improvement (I originally ordered on Oct 29).

Can you check which assembly factory it’s coming from. FedEx usually tells you exactly what building it’s coming from.
