Ive received mine yesterday morning about the same time as Dj-one chuck.
For whatever reason here around Quebec City ups never update the status when they go out for delivery. The delivery was supposed to be tomorrow 20th and came as a surprise saturday morning. My guest is that contractor can’t scan as a real ups guys…. Its been like this for my last 3 ups shipped items.
Iam about to finish transfering files/installing software e.t.c…

So far iam impressed! The only downside is that a lot of logic pro x plugin are still intel. Something like amplitube are a ressource hog as with an intel mac.
I did not test adobe cc but i already know that its working fine as we have a couple of m1 mac at the office.
I am coming from a temporary triple boot win/macos/ubuntu hackintosh custom build with coffee lake i3-8100 (shame on me) All mac was still sold with 5-6gen intel when i build this… And my 2011 iMac was overdue. I think i made a good choice to wait for this. As a graphic designer I am using mac since 2000 ish.
Hackintosh build will be converted back to a pc gaming machine and i will even swap my 3d printed modded g5 case for a nzxt h510 for a clean look.
I have a lot of work to do. My desk is a all around do everything setup (home studio/gaming/graphic design) ive upgraded my audio interface too. (Coming from a firewire focusrite saffire 56) i have now a audient id44 with a focusrite octopre.

Today is the 21st here. Still nothing regarding my MBP, it’s still hung up at “processing” stage. Seems very unlikely I’ll receive it within the specified 22nd - 29th window. Sad.
I had DHL "Shipment Picked Up" status until the delivery day (7 days later).
If you call DHL, and try to get the master waybill number out of them, you should get better tracking. On that waybill #, something happened almost every day.

I lived through a week or two of no tracking updates and a posted shipping date that didn't happen, but 4 days after that I'm happy to report that DSL delivered my 16" 32GB/24Core/1TB today and I'm transferring all my files now.

So for those who are still waiting, hang in there. It takes some time but in the end it'll be worth it.

You should not be having that issue. Maybe something is running in the background. I would force quit all the apps and then restart your Mac?
If that doesn’t help. You might want to reinstall fresh Mac OS.

I have not had any battery drain issues with mine
I say getting to the recovery or safe boot mode is a lot easier on a M1 Mac Since you just hold the power button down almost just like some PCs since you know on some pc they say press the F12 button for boot options, that is what I mean with a Apple M1 chip computer. I think the only thing that I don't like is you can't turn of the the auto boot like you could do on a intel MacBook

I think our Macbook Pros were on the same plane. All of my delivery info is the exact same as yours except today mine is still in Memphis, TN with a status of In Transit.
Finally arrived yesterday! Just turned it on and the goddamn speakers blew me away already. What a huge jump coming from my late 2013 15" Retina MBP!
I sold my M1 off to help pay for my NEW one so I have been macless for awhile now hopefully mine is ready soon.
Oh that sucks! What are your ship dates? I use my computer daily so couldn't imagine trading in the current one before getting the new one! Right now I have two computers and when I get my new 16" M1 Max I'll trade in the 2019 15" i9 or hand it down to my son (who isn't sure he wants it. who can blame him?
) and the 13" M1 becomes my travel & backup computer.
My 16" 64GB/32Core/2TB was delivered today. Ordered on Nov. 7 and estimated Dec 24-31. I can’t complain with it beein 2 days early after waiting 6.5 weeks. Fedex released the delivery without a signature. Luckily my son was home and brought it in for me.
I hope everyone else get their‘s soon also. I won’t be unboxing for a few days.
