And my bog standard 14” ordered 1st December to Scotland UK and due initially 14th December, and then 16th has now been delayed somewhere in Europe due to a ‘mechanical failure’ and latest estimate 17th December. We will see. UPS are no longer giving away much detail in terms of tracking.

But a short wait compared to many on this thread.

Lesson learned, next time I'm ordering all the SKUs I'm considering on launch day, instead of just one, having to return it and then spend two months without a laptop!

UPS changed the date again. Now it's Friday December 17. Hope so! On Apple site says today is the delivery. So confusing! Looks like the computer is still in China...

Mine changed again as well, now going from the 17th to the 20th. It does appear to finally be moving though after 6 days of sitting still in Shanghai.

Maybe if I refresh this page enough someone at Apple will notice and they can rescue my order from the Processing Pit ...

Apple may want to reevaluate its partnership with UPS. Today, 10 days after Apple sent me a shipping notification, UPS provides a delivery estimate of December 20 —that is 14 days after my order was ready for shipment.

Well wrong again.. Yesterday I posted that UPS updated my delivery day from the 14 to the 17th. Thinking my computer was having a nice rest period somewhere in the states I was a little surprised to see today's UPS notice that delivery will now be Monday the 20th. and guess what it just left China! First notice from Apple that it was shipped was on the 3rd with a delivery date of the 14th. First appearance in the UPS system was on the 10th. Attached is my UPS status:

Mine finally left China and was in AK early this morning. When it left China UPS moved the date to the 21st but once scanned in AK it was moved back to the 20th (where UPS moved it to a few days ago as it sat with the custom clearance scans for a few days).
So...
16" SG M1Max 24GPU 32RAM 2TB
Ordered Nov 20
Label created Dec 3
Active in UPS Dec 10
Left China: late Dec 15 (NA time)
Apple original delivery on ordering was Dec 10-16
Apple delivery date was Dec 14 once label created
UPS has moved delivery from 14 to 15 to 16 to 20 to 21 and now back to 20.
I would assume things will be stable now. Mine is coming to BC, Canada.

I agree with some of you that said that Apple should re-evaluate their partnership with UPS. I got the shipping notice on December 2 and it seems that I will finally get my laptop tomorrow (17th). It left China 2 days ago and it was in Anchorage at 2AM eastern time. I'm in Montreal so I think it's possible that it will get here tomorrow 3 days later than the original date.

It's nice to see that a lot of people are getting their Macs, hope you enjoy them! Can't wait to be part of the gang! :)

DHL sure doesn't seem to provide much detail about the shipment itself. Anyone else getting theirs delivered to the U.S. via DHL?

And UPS updated this morning to a new delivery of Mon, Apr 20. Still sitting in Shanghai. Apple no longer indicates a delivery date just that the item has shipped.
Well, a spot of good news. Computer left Shanghai last night, made it to Anchorage, and cleared customs about an hour ago. Psyched to see it finally leave Shanghai.

Same here, finally out of China and cleared customs today! No, not getting it today, or Friday...It says Monday now on UPS, but this time I believe it since it's finally in US and cleared customs. It left AK, and cleared customs at 7:34am this morning so in theory it could be here today or tomorrow as promised earier, but I'm not holding my breath anymore.

I'm in the same boat as you.
Ordered November 3
Estimate Dev 21-28
Preparing to ship Dec 15
Charged Dec 15
Expected Delivery - Dec 22

It does not appear to have been shipped at I only have 1 shipping update on DHL page. I guess I just have to be patient. Expected delivery is still within the originally promised delivery window.

Need to stop stalking the page.
As much as I want my macbook yesterday, I'm fortunate enough to be able to get one.

Let's face it - there are far more undesirable things coming out of China right now.

Apple may want to reevaluate its partnership with UPS. Today, 10 days after Apple sent me a shipping notification, UPS provides a delivery estimate of December 20 —that is 14 days after my order was ready for shipment.

Actually, that is normal, especially with the glut of Macs that are coming out. 14 days is FAST compared to those that waited 6 weeks for the Ready For Shipment notification. People have to realize that after it leaves the Apple facility and UPS picks it up, they are all just sitting at UPS' distribution center until taken to the airport. There it's a crapshoot on if they get on a flight. If they do, they go. If they don't, they go back to the distro center, and try again the next day. wash/rinse/repeat until it actually does get on a flight.

This is the same for UPS, FDX, DHL, ABX, the entire lot. This isn't an Apple vs. UPS issue; this is a logistics issue with every shipping carrier due to limited space on flights versus all the cargo that has to be shipped. It isn't as if Apple's products are the only products on the flight.

Got a email saying my tracking number has been generated. Scheduled delivery is supposed to been Monday at the latest according to Apple. Let’s see what UPS says.

MBP 16 in
Space Gray
10 / 16 cores (CPU / GPU)
16 GB RAM
1 TB SSD

Ordered and card charged on 6 Dec. Delivery window 22-29 Dec. Order is still stuck on “processing”.

I’m upgrading from a MBP 13 in 2014 model, primarily because I want the larger screen size. But since getting an M1 Mac Mini earlier this year, I’ve been holding out for the M1 MBP.

oh! And now UPS is suggesting delivery tomorrow instead of Monday, Dec 20th. That would be delightfully exciting.

Looks like mine made it to the U.S. but is now stuck in Cincinnati. I was hoping DHL would be more efficient than UPS / FedEx but doesn't seem like it.
