... which reminded me to double-check the dimensions. Yay! The new 14" will fit into my Acme Made Skinny Sleeve I used to use for my late 2013 13" MBP! I got that sleeve in 2014 and it looks pretty beat up, so nobody will think there's a beast in there.

They haven't charged my amex card yet. You might get a good number of ppl whose cards get rejected and you move to their spot, you never know. I hope we all get it the 26th though

I am a patient man generally but it’s 5am and I’m checking my order status like it’s going to magically get here next Tuesday… Can’t wait for this thing to show up!
Mine is 27th Oct - 3 Nov but I'm just sat here quietly hoping that becomes 26th 😍
I did also, I upgrade to the next model each time so I try not to do much more than base.
Every time I look at the 120hz screen I'll think of you because I know how much you were looking forward to it.
Mine was late Nov - Dec 2nd but yesterday they moved me to Nov 17-24. Funny thing though, iJustin seems to be in the same batch as mine. If she couldn't make it to first batch, what chances did I have.

SIGH… I’m pretty set now on getting the 14”, I just can’t get it out of my mind. If the rumors are true regarding the display, they are too late as I just purchased 2 24” monitors that I’m really happy with. My last Apple display was the Thunderbolt and it was glorious! Wound up giving it to my Uncle who is an photographer/artist.
Dark mode with transparency off. Or Dark mode with a wallpaper that has a black bar the height of the notch. Problem solved.

You can always get the 14” MacBook Pro then trade it in or sell it once the mini comes out.
Who knows you might end up liking the 14” MacBook Pro more than the mini.

That camera bump on the pixel 6 sure looks like an issue to me.
I did too. My M1 MacBook Pro was fine in performance, but I am upgrading more for the new computer than the chip.

I went into the event with 14” in mind. I have the entry level 2019 16” MBP (I seem to always get the entry level & am fine). I wanted something more portable this time.
I didn’t notice the 8-core thing when I ordered. But I figure given how well the 13” M1 MBP performed for folks compared to the 2019 16” MBP, this entry level 14” should be on par or exceed it performance wise.
Like others have said here, we’re impatiently waiting for our orders to arrive! It’s making me antsy. I sometimes think that I should have stayed with the 16”.
The way I looked at it when I ordered was this is probably going to get upgraded more frequently now it’s on Apple Silicon. I’ll probably want the next iteration when that comes out in a year or so.
I was just sick of my 2014 taking off like a jet. And I don’t even do much that’s demanding either. It just randomly would do that. Kinda annoying too haha
I ordered the 16" Max with 1TB storage and 64G of ram and have a 26th delivery date. My order confirmation came in at Mon, Oct 18, 1:54 PM EST.
