mmmm
yep.... i guess next tuesday we will have better chances... and til thenn, we are gonna suffer for real.. hahaha...just imagine... last tuesday of september, if its not that one, itll be next one, and if its not that one either, we will be facin oct 14...
if nothing happes then... woah... ill be really angry.... i already took oct 14 as my limit, if apple fails me i would buy another computer perhaps. I really need a computer and dont plan to waste my time with this... i mean.. Ipods revived apple, but the root of the company is apple COMPUTERS!!!! come on Steve... u are just losing money against Microsofts computers. I love apple, but seriously right now i guess apple notebooks are way to old now, and they NEED a refresh, cause outthere u find way better pcs...

Steve... just refresh your notebooks..

I am so agitated right now that I sent an email to Apple complaining about their use of the word "funnest" in their iPod marketing campaign... I had to lash out somehow, and that's been bugging me anyway!! ;)

I can't believe Apple would lower itself to use a term like that in its marketing scheme for the new iPods. "Funnest" is not found in the Oxford English Dictionary, so it is not a word. Please don't contribute to the desecration of the English language by using terms like that where millions of people can see them and believe them to be acceptable.

Guys/Gals, where are the few getting the October 14th date from for a release from Apple? Is there something special about that date, or is it just speculation?
Some rumored/speculated dates and reasons for those dates:
  • September 23: Engadget, and it's today! :D
  • September 30: The Tuesday after September 23, last Tuesday of a month (Apple has released several products on last Tuesdays)
  • October 14: Daring Fireball. There's speculation on an Apple event on that date.
  • MWSF 2009: A redesign, especially two redesigns, may be significant enough for a MWSF announcement

come on if apple doesnt update before christmascome one!!! they are losing looooots of money!!! i mean... after December companies like Dell are gonna be rich.. while apple is gonna get their new notebooks to some flat wallets!??? come on!!! i mean.. not even hasbro does it!

And Apple's notebook marketshare would go down the drain if they waited that long to update. The technology is very outdated and it has been months since an upgrade

Good point..
If updated at MWSF 09 the MacBook's wouldn't have received an update in close to 11 months.

possibly, if it was me i would stealth open it for the ones that watch closely.
So, that when the ads start rolling out and ideas of what your going to buy for gifts start storming. That long ass line of people who just have to have it today wont be there.

but thats just me.

i had every intention to buy the orginal iphone but screw waiting in that line.
time passed and i just lost intrest but the 3G had me hooked and i walked into an apple store and got one.
if ther was a line i still would have been waiting.
but now i know better =) i NEEED MORE

Unless they get a stopgap refresh (minor spec bump) soon and the **real** update comes in January.

I wonder if steve jobs gets reports on these forums. I mean how else does he stay informed about his customers. This site and Apple Insider are the main forums. I've already sent steve an e-mail out of desperation to speed things up, maybe if we all do that, things might happen? Even God can be appealed to. sjobs@apple.com...

I think we are all really sick of waiting for this way overdue update. Peoplea are just waiting to give their money to apple, I don't get why apple don't wanna take it.
