MacBook Shipments Have Begun?

Any release news will be lost in all the GPhone hype that we are going to be subjected to today.

Not the best day to launch product updates.
 
I'm still quietly confident it'll be updated sometime after 2.00pm UK time today. No way are dixons/currys going to be without macbooks for the next three weeks, just wouldn't make sense.

maybe they didn't stock up because they are reading macrumors to much :p


seriously, i think the release date is near but maybe it is not going to be today but the next week
 
I wouldn't put too much weight on argos/pcworld/dixons etc not having stock, but yes obviously they will be losing out on sales the longer they leave it. I'm predicting next week if not today. And guess what, if it's not next week, I'm guessing the week after! :p

The "New to the Store" of the Apple Online Store does not has the "Creative Suite 4" added, Apple still updating the store?
 
But it's still only 04:22 in California, right?
On the other hand, I still think it won't be out until Oct 14th. But I hope I'm wrong :)

Do you really think that apple would introduce the new notebooks without any event, what i say with an extrem big event no wait an ultimate event which is much more important and bigger than the first man on the moon

they made big event for colored ipods with a few gig more storage, so you all realy think they just would throw them out? They will have a big event even they only chaged a screw on the macbooks.

WRONG!

If you bothered to read other posts you would see that Apple never had a meet and greet for the transition of iBook to MacBook!

I don't think the new MacBook's will be out today but i also won't be surprised if there is no event.

the macbooks will not be out in 2008, im sure they will rls it in jan 09 with keynote.

I hope im wrong, because i want a macbook ASAP ;):apple
