Finally got my MacBook yesterday, 12 hours short of two weeks from pressing "order" on Apple's website. Could have been faster I must say, took forever to clear China and took forever to squirm here. I guess the additional ordering of BT-keyboard and Mini-DVI to Video -adapter slowed it down, the MB had to meet with those two in Holland before TNT begun to haul them towards home.
But it's worth the wait, I must say.

Mine isn't moving. It still says 'Receiver on Holiday'. I am going to file a complaint against TNT. I sent them three emails, none of which was ever answered. And their status messages are rubbish. Unacceptable.
Those of you in the Netherlands: let us know when your MacBooks are delivered, okay? Then I can compare.

It is a ancient christian holiday of very unclear meaning to me, i really have no idea why people still celebrate it, especially since it prevents me from getting my MB!. Sweden recently swapped and made the sixth our holiday instead of pentecostal om the fifth, since the sixth is our national day, similar to the US independence day, although much less celebrated. Just some random facts while we wait for our MacBooks. =)

My first Macbook arrived very fast, I ordered it on May 19th and it arrived on May 29th. But as it was broken TNT picked it up again and now I'm supposed to wait until June 21st which I think is unacceptable as this means I have to wait more than a month until I hopefully get a proper Macbook.

Could hardly be happier with it.My MacBook was due to arrive today but it didn't. I live in Cardiff in the UK. I ordered mine on May 29th and had an expected delivery date of June 7th. The parcel was picked up from the factory on June 1st and sat in Pudong Airport until yesterday. It then moved to the TNT Arnhem Hub yesterday and I then had the message 'Receiver On Holiday' which when I did some investigation turns out that the depot is closed for a public holiday. When I spoke to someone at TNT they said that it would be with me today. I said to the customer service agent that it hadn't left Pudong yet. When she looked at the tracking history she said that it was more likely to be with me on Thursday 8th. If you phone TNT, make them aware where the parcel is or they will just tell you the expected delivery date.
When I phoned them today, they said that it was stuck in Paris due to the bank holiday but would be in the UK early hours of tomorrow morning. I spoke to the TNT depot that would be sending the parcel out and arranged to collect it as it is only a few miles from where I work. My local depot is open 24 hours and said that I could collect at any time of day. Having looked at other posts, it appears that if there are no delays reported on TNT tracking then it should only take 4-5 working days to send the goods out. If there are reported delays, my advise would be to speak to someone at TNT at least once a day, after all, it is a free phone number (Maybe I'm just too impatient). Also, TNT seem to be having problems with the tracker as two days worth of info updated at the same time yesterday. The customer service assistant should have more detailed info.
Here's hoping I get it tomorrow. One other final word, I know TNT haven't been reaching their delivery targets but remember to be polite and patient and they are more likely to help you get your delivery quicker. I initially asked if they could send my parcel out as a high priority delivery and they said that it wouldn't be a problem as this was their error but bare in mind that they don't legally have to do that because as painful and frustrating as the truth is, the delivery date is only an estimate and not an exact date.

For those of you in the Netherlands: I just spent the whole day waiting for the TNT van, after a TNT rep promised me my MacBook would be delivered today, and when I called TNT once more, because it was getting late, I was told that there was a mistake, and that a whole batch of Mac products will be delivered to customers in the Netherlands next Friday. My MacBook will be in that batch.
So if your MacBook was shipped from Shanghai a couple of days ago, it might be in that batch, too, in which case it should be delivered the day after tomorrow.
I didn't stop at the call center person answering te phone, but asked for a manager instead. He acknowledged that the status page on the TNT website is hardly any help to customers waiting for their goods, and he promised to look into that. That was after I told him that on forums like this one, many disgruntled Mac users were complaining about the status page not being up to date and containing erroneous information.
And I could have been out in the sun all day!

You're picking yours up from Northampton or from your local depot?
Mine's also been received at Northampton today 2.30, considering I live in Bedford just around 25 miles away I hoped it would arrive today. Maybe I should just call them and drive there if its waiting for tomorrow.
