MacBook Shipping Times

Apple shipped my CTO 1gb/80gb out on the 15th as estimated, to St. John's, Newfoundland, but the FedEx website wasn't updated in a while. I tried their phone system to track it, and it didn't know of such a package - the phone rep found it, and said it was still clearing customs in China, but an hour later online it was in Anchorage. It seems to have missed the afternoon flight out, but should still be here Wednesday.
Edit: They update slow - it made the flight!

It looks like it will travel the same route as lots of others, China, Alaska, Tennessee, and then to my province.

So from Tennessee they go to their province? That's good. Mine left Tennesse this morning at 3:46. I wonder how long it takes to get to the designated province? I want mine to be in my hands on Monday, is that too much to ask? Haha.

Either way, a lot quicker than the 13 day shipping estimate Apple gave me for my white macbook.

SPOKE TOO SOON Finally got shipping confirmation today 17th.

Checked site and now it says Estimated delivery time 29th June ? A slight change from 21st....

So looks like I can forget about receiving my macbook next week

Mine left TN this morning, and it took someone else's package roughly 24 hours to travel to Newfoundland from there, so I think Monday is the day for us both .
I'll race you in receiving it!

Yeah the €6.50 shipping charge is worth bearing if it means your not waiting weeks for a cable or bag to become in-stock....


My new macbook (black one to replace my previous white) is due to be shipped on the 19th, with expected delivery date of the 21st. From China to Ireland? Dont think so,

I ordered the bag for my macbook, but I've had a shipping conformation. I assume this means the bag's in stock? The track & trace says it has departed China.

I ordered my Macbook on 14th, Mine says that its in Northhampton Hub... so it's in UK! Hurray! Anyone one know how long it will take from there? But tomorrow is Sunday, so it will probably stay in Northhampton for a while, it's estimated to arrive on 21st... hmmm

Mine says my macbook was shipped on the 16th of june (which is a day later then Apples 1-3 day shipping they claimed) I'm in Ontario, right at the USA border, and Fedex hasnt updated their tracking for me yet, so it still says that at 04:38 it left China on june 16th... thats all i got. Its expected to deliver June 21st at noon hahaha I hope it makes it, and doesnt Moo or whine..

And my Nano that i ordered with the rebate was shipped the same day, using purolater, it says it left Toronto this morning... so i should get that today? or do fedex and purolater not ship on weekends?

I dont have much help for ya, mine was with Fedex, and Purolater..They both linked off the apple website when i logged on.

But if it says it cant find your order, it usually means that they havent updated the website yet, which can take around 24 hours...Just keep refreshing all day hahaha

You 80...... number is a reference. Make sure TNT's site tracking has reference rather than consignment

TNT sometimes only knows where a package is when it has already arrived in Arnhem. The same happened to me. They couldn't track it and all of a sudden it was in the Netherlands after 4 days without any information.

Yeah it probably got to Toronto later that night, then would have been shipped out for deliver probably monday morning.. i will probably end up with it on Tuesday.. or even WEDNESDAY!! dun dun duuuhhhhhh!

I've just seen that my Macbook's estimated arrival date is July 3rd. However, it is being shipped on June 22nd.

Can someone explain to me how Apple have worked out that it will take 11 days to ship to my address?!?!? Where the hell are they shipping from?! Mars?! . Even the slowest deliveries in the UK only take about 3 days!

Ordered on the 14th arrived in Arnhem today - I guess that mean delivery (Copenhagen, Denmark) on the 22nd. That is a lot faster than i expected/feared...... Way to go Apple/TNT!

I don't get it. Surely you knew when your Macbook would be arriving as it tells you in the Order Status bit in the Apple Store?!
