Well I use Maestro Debit Card thru PayPal - it has upto £500 cover or something so it should be ok right? I haven't mailed him because he sent me a mail on the 18th saying 'Payment has been received, your item will be posted shortly, thanks'. If it was 1st class, surely it should have come by Saturday? (You can't email if theyre no longer registered, can you?) The guy had like an eBay shop going - and if you look at the history there were previously a few sales in the last 10 days....weird!

Yeah its very wierd. On the email you recieved was there not a return email address? If you can email you could just ask for clarification of posting, not too much...

Its 24/7 open... They will give you some info!
 
EricG try this link.... enter your number beggining 803....... and highlight reference not consignment then click track....

If that doesn't work call TNT

Just called them and the lady I spoke to was having problems with her computer... probably a Dell... ;) She's gonna call me back in a while once the problem is resolved.

I tried all the links you guys mentioned and no dice... I think my best bet is to just call Apple tomorrow (that is, if it hasn't showed up on the tracker by then). Thanks for all the links!

I ordered my black MacBook (1 Gig RAM) over the phone with the Aussie Apple Store at about 8:30am on Wednesday the 17th. Due to ship on the 31st, arrive on the 6th.

Don't worry, they're coming :)

But 14 days before it's shipped, sheesh, certainly more than the 8-10 days the rep told me.

She called back and told me the package will be here on Monday 29may...:eek:
I don't know if I should be happy or not... but 9 days... A bit to much for me...

And the package still is in China... at Shanghai Pudong International Airport

Hopefully mine will have caught up to yours while still in China. Looks like yours is having difficulties booking a ticket. That'll teach you not to book in advance. ;) :p

29May... 1 week from now.. Has anyone yet invented a time machine? ;)

Now I know when its coming, so now its time to relaxe and enjoy the week.. :D

PS: Why APPLE!!!!!!! Couldn't you choose UPS.. It would talke only maks 3 days!!!!:mad:[
 
order status page is down.... hope they change it back to when you could see exactly what was going on...

anyway, in one month i'll be spending 100 quid on stuff, probably ram maybe a HD maybe a superdrive, any other suggestions, i was thinking of maybe getting a usb stick tv tuner..... it depends how bearable 512 ram is.
 
ah, back up and no change ships on the 29th aparently, (edit i'm retarded EMEA shipping just means europe middle east and africa) 1-3 days shipping.... any idea what company ships it? i hope it's fedex i've got nothing but praise for them, the UPS dude that does my area is scary and ugly, though the USPS guy is cool, i havent had a TNT package in a long time but they were ok....

garr, i cannot take it, apple should do a system where higher edu buyers can print out their order and go pick it up at the nearest apple store.

oh and does anyone know how high MB optical drives are?

before anyone tells me i should of bought a 2.0 i can get parts very cheaply and the .16GHz lost means nothing to me.

So my MacBook should be with me in Wales on Tuesday!!
 
I've been unabe to cancel mine for at least 72hrs now, but it still hasn't shipped (has to ship to belgium, azerty keboard).

Damn thee Apple, why are thou so slow.. (I ordered a few hours after the announcement)

edit: and then, not even a few measly hours after this post, they ship :)
 
Now this is really agonizing. I just checked my status and my Macbook arrived in Denver at 12:53 this morning. That's only an hour away from where I'm at now! I can feel it calling to me :eek:

How lucky! I guess you'll be getting it tomorrow morning. I wish I was in the US... lower prices and faster shipping... :)

True... not to mention health care and a couple other things... but still, it just doesn't way up to getting a new Apple MacBook a few days sooner. :p ;) :D
