Upgrade OTA (OCLP 2.4.1) to 14.8.3 on a MBA 2017, Mac Mini 2014 and MBP mid 2012.
Derping with SIP shouldn’t be necessary. OCLP will handle it. Re-enable SIP and try again.I disable SIP and restart
Thank you for chiming in.Derping with SIP shouldn’t be necessary. OCLP will handle it. Re-enable SIP and try again.
Github states there's no workaround for the Quadro. oh well.Derping with SIP shouldn’t be necessary. OCLP will handle it. Re-enable SIP and try again.
What would actually be the problem? Here the only drawback is that I need to keep logging in to YouTube constantly. So, are there still issues with Safari in 14.8.3
Truthfully, I really don't know.. I use Firefox for most things on my OCLP machines cuz streaming doesn't work in Safari on them. I just know I've seen people having issues with Safari 26.x, but in Sonoma with Safari 17.6, I don't have any issues really except for the streaming not working, and like I said, I use Firefox for that. What would actually be the problem? On my old mac Safari 26.1 work correctlySo, are there still issues with Safari in 14.8.3?

Is your goal to dual-boot supported and unsupported macOS? Which would be used daily? The question is:
To format and install Sonoma OS to new drive in external enclosure and then swap drives?
Or To swap drives first and install Sonoma to new drive inside the MBP?
First, make sure you have installed latest Big Sur on original internal storage to get latest firmware. Second, make sure you have a good backup of original internal storage. Third, on Big Sur internal storage, install latest OCLP and create Sonoma USB external install media.Dual-boot sounds well - especially for the first time.
Hopefully I won’t have any problems with Sonoma and it will be used as the main system.
But if something goes wrong, I would like to be able to return at any time to the old OS.
This MBP is a working tool and I can’t risk
Did you build an OCLP install w/drivers supporting GT120, not RX580? You need to rebuild the OC EFI using OCLP application, but choose the appropriate settings for RX580 GPU, and then reinstall root patches. Post screenshot of your OCLP application Settings > Advanced tab so we can see your Graphics settings. So I used an old GT120 to be able to install Sonoma on a SSD. The problem is now that Sonoma doesn't start when I put back in the RX 580 but it does just fine with the GT 120. I hear the chime, no boot screen obviously, then 10-15 seconds later a click and it reboots.
The OCLP was built with the RX 580 under Catalina.Did you build an OCLP install w/drivers supporting GT120, not RX580? I just looked under the Advanced section (didn't read anything about that, my bad) and it looks like previously I didn't check the AMD GPU injection and Nvidia GPU Injection when I built the OCLP. I will try that now.Did you build an OCLP install w/drivers supporting GT120, not RX580?
