From what I have gathered, it looks like on a 2018 MacBook Air, it is still not possible to install sequoia on it due to the T2 chip?
OCLP does not support Macs with T2 chip. From what I have gathered, it looks like on a 2018 MacBook Air, it is still not possible to install sequoia on it due to the T2 chip?
Hopefully they will soon, however Sonoma works well and does what I want it to... just would be nice to have the latest.OCLP does not support Macs with T2 chip.
Nice if we can please indicate if it is a beta/RC or release etc. FWIW.15.7.5 (24G617) full installer:
It's an RC, #3 I would think. I have it installed on both Macs here, no issues.Nice if we can please indicate if it is a beta/RC or release etc. FWIW.
I left it for around 15 min several times. I am just going to stick with Preview.Have you tried simply leaving the installer alone for some time (maybe even an hour)…? The Adobe Acrobat installer can often be very slow…
Preview does that too. Just drag from the side bar to the finder...I’ve come to the same conclusion. Just going to stick with Preview. I wanted to try Acrobat Reader to see if I could extract pages out from a document. I found an online solution for this task.

I've seen the same issue with Acrobat 2020 for a little while. I'm not sure exactly when the problem started, but I'm pretty sure it was one of the Sequoia releases.Anyone else having issues with Adobe Acrobat Reader (latest release version 25.001.21223) indefinitely hanging during installation, makes it to the one minute left to go mark.
macOS 15.7.5 got released inadvertently: https://eclecticlight.co/2026/03/05/has-apple-suffered-a-premature-release/
Thank You!Preview does that too. Just drag from the side bar to the finder...
Showed up here as the final, on Software Update. 🙌 And since updating to 15.7.5 Tahoe is no longer offered on Software Update. 🙃Sequoia 15.7.5 (24G623) is designated RC4 by the way. Currently installed here on one supported Mac, downloading to the unsupported one.
I found this bit info on how KDKs are not always updated with point releases and security updates. It is kernel dependent. I just OTA'ed to 15.7.4 without the non existing matching KDK. Everything functions as expected.Guys, don't you think it's better to wait for a new version of the KDK to be released before updating macOS via OTA? For example, I'm still using macOS 15.7.3 because the latest KDK available is for that version.
