In my (mid 2012 MBPr, 10,1) System/General/Software Update offered 24G617, (I was on 24G612) so I downloaded it, installed and ran OCLP.

Seems to be running okay.

I have a LG 4K display (two HDMI inputs and one DisplayPort) for my PC and I was never able to get the MBP to work with it. So today I spent the afternoon trying to get it to work:

MacBookPro10,1
LG 32UN550-W 4k display
Metal Family: Supported, Metal 2
System Settings > Battery disabled Automatic Graphics Switching to force NVIDIA GT 650M
HDMI to HDMI cable didn’t show a second display connected in Display settings
Mini DisplayPort (mDP) to DisplayPort (DP) showed a second display connected in Display settings but the LG had a black screen
Reset PRAM
FeatureUnlock in OCLP set to None
LG Settings>Picture > Game Adjust > HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color Off
Refresh Rate 30Hz

Two settings in BetterDisplay worked:
Turn off High Resolution HiDPI
Set refresh rate to 60 Hz
1920x1080

Ran out of energy before trying other resolutions or with the cover closed.

Nice if we can please indicate if it is a beta/RC or release etc. FWIW.

Yes it's RC3.

Available build 24G607 (Release Candidate)
Available build 24G612 (Release Candidate 2)
Available build 24G617 (Release Candidate 3)
https://betawiki.net/wiki/MacOS_Sequoia#15.7.5

There is a new RC with every new Beta of 26.4. As it was before with 26.3 + 15.7.4 and 26.2 + 15.7.3 and so on...

There never is a Beta it always starts with an RC. I think it's finished from the beginning and they just wait for the next final point update of Tahoe to release it publicly for whatever reason. I guess they only fix tiny stuff or security issues in a new RC, if at all.

The same is happening with Sonoma.

Also a new Safari 26.x Beta is released separately on the same day, but it doesn't need the latest version.

To get a new RC and Safari 26.x Betas via Software Update, Developer Betas have to be activated what also won't offer you annoying Tahoe updates anymore.

If there is no option for beta updates or just Public Betas you need to login once to the Apple Developer website with your Apple-ID and create a free profile. Just accept the terms and skip everything after that. Then also those hidden download links for Safari Betas next to the Technology Preview are working for you. To register just click on view downloads or this icon on that website for example:

There is also this Terminal command to show the Beta update options, but I never tested it:

open "x-apple.systempreferences:com.apple.Software-Update-Settings.extension?action=showBetaUpdates"

Anyone else having issues with Adobe Acrobat Reader (latest release version 25.001.21223) indefinitely hanging during installation, makes it to the one minute left to go mark.
I've seen the same issue with Acrobat 2020 for a little while. I'm not sure exactly when the problem started, but I'm pretty sure it was one of the Sequoia releases.

Guys, don't you think it's better to wait for a new version of the KDK to be released before updating macOS via OTA? For example, I'm still using macOS 15.7.3 because the latest KDK available is for that version.
I found this bit info on how KDKs are not always updated with point releases and security updates. It is kernel dependent. I just OTA'ed to 15.7.4 without the non existing matching KDK. Everything functions as expected.

Here is the link to the developer page - https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/796371

Anyone sync music to there iPhone my album art went all over the place anyone use a third party app instead of the music app ? First time it’s happened , I deleted all music on my phone which was a terrible idea because it synced back worse .

This popped-up on Software Update this PM.
macOS 15.7.5 installed atop 15.7.5 OTA, OCLP 2.5.0n, runs as expected. Build #24G624.
