Oh snap! I just tried again and its randomly working! Looks like more and more issues are getting cleared up! Its go time boys!

oh well, i'll just wait since you're in Florida, how bad of a beating did you get from the tropical storm that went across today ? I mainly got rain and 15 to 23 mph winds not bad at all.

I saw 35 mph on the app last night (Tampa Area) but it really wasn't that bad. Couple of small branches and 1 medium sized branch across the driveway/front-yard.

Those of us that "supposedly" downloaded the FULL file earlier are still in purgatory. Won't even initiate a download because the broken file keeps trying to install first. I'll just pile on to the group asking how do we delete that file so it can start over! UGH

I'm in the same boat.... how do we delete it? Nobody can answer this for us?

Mine started to download again here in Australia got all the way to 12.18GB and then if failed again. 2020 MacBook Pro. Lucky I am on an unlimited data plan.

This seems to be due to an interrupted or corrupted download. This can usually be resolved by clearing your Mac App Store cache.

1. Quit the Mac App Store
2. Go to Terminal and type following: open $TMPDIR../C/com.apple.appstore/
3. Move the files inside the folder to the Desktop or any temporary location (if you are confident, you can move them to Trash straight away.)

this worked for me. downloading again now

Try running

sudo softwareupdate --clear-catalog

and then restart preferences.

This seems to work on my MacBook Pro! Haven't tried on my iMac yet, but it is downloading now on my MacBook Pro.

try deleting files from this and reboot

In Florida in the USA. The download has started working on both my Macs (no VPN), but it is still intermittently failing with the error and I have to keep retrying to get it to keep downloading.
