I tried deleting the dupes on my iPad running iPadOS 13 and iCloud threw an error when I tried emptying the trash. Eventually, the dupes came back, so I tried again, which seemed to stick, however again crashed when trying to empty trash. I haven’t checked to see if the dupes once again came back.

Oops I actually assumed that he was fixed but after checking my iCloud Drive right now all the duplicates are back!
Looks like will have to wait for a fix in the next beta!

It boggles my mind that Apple even considers this beta. Users have virtually no control over iCloud Drive whatsoever, so pushing experimental changes that can break iCloud Drive with no way to fix it is just absurd. This is not beta.

? Seems like the ideal place for it tbh, as long as people give the necessary feedback. iCloud is clearly working better for some than others. For me its terrible, but meh.. Beta.

In 6 years of beta testing, this is only my second major issue, after two years ago's kernel panic when updating the files.

I have a similar problem while upgrading from beta 3 to beta 4. Everytime I try to start the installer it says that it needs more disk space. When I delete files the required disk space counter rises. At my first attempt it needed around 1.9GB of extra free space. Now it's up to 6.93 GB.

Ugh I can’t update to the latest Catalina PB. I get “not enough space” error it says it needs atleast 10GB of Storage. I have 50GB available on my SSD and 20GB on my removable HD. MBA2017

EDIT

Looks like I’m not the only one. Have you guys reported it?

Oh I haven't had that issue, but I can't sign into the App Store or update apps. A little concerning this is still an issue 4 betas in.

For me, the Desktop and Documents functionality is slightly sorted with this beta. I say slightly since there are two desktops in Finder now but files in Desktop and Documents reflect correctly with this beta.

Don't know if somebody mentions that, but the Catalina wallpaper is kind of "broken". When I open the file, there's only two picture in the .heic file...

I deleted like a lot of stuff on my mac which lead to my available storage to almost 60GB, so. I was able to download the new Beta, as I was about to install it. It asked me to choose the storage, I saw that my HD storage is only 23GB, but when I checked on my storage under my system preference I have more than 50GB of HD storage.
 
Main problem I'm having:

I can't install any apps from the Mac App Store, even ones I previously downloaded. It gets about 80% done then I get a message like this:

They fixed the issue in which any apps in the Applications folder would not show up unless you manually dragged them into the Launchpad icon.
Edit: In the latest beta
 
I don't have an ssd but I wonder what trim does and since those of you having storage space issues I wonder if its possible that you might have to reenable trim
