Have installed Monterey Dev Beta 2 on both my MBP16 and M1 Mac Mini.
Just want to add about Wireguard:
On M1 Mac mini working flawlessly
On MBP16 it's connecting and getting stuck every 5-10 seconds

I don't know if someone already mentioned that, but sometimes when my M1 MacBook Air is plugged into an external display (LG UltraFine 4K) with the lid closed, the OS behaves as if the lid was opened, it's on dual screen mode while it should be on single screen mode.

I have to open & close the lid to make it rearrange properly.

I have no idea how to get Private Relay to work on my mac. I have a 2018 Mac Mini and im using Wifi. it is enabled in both iCloud and wifi settings. but whenever i got to myip.com my real ip always shows up. it does work on my ipad and iphone

Does selecting "Hide My Email" on some sign-up sites create a blank white pop-up that goes into a useless loop with an occasional spinning gear? Has happened to me a couple of times in the last few days.

Has anyone run into any issues when attempting to open/install an app from a .DMG file? It doesn't happen for every .DMG, but here and there I am now getting "the disk you attached was not readable by this computer." First noticed it on the Tor Browser Bundle.

I'm getting this today trying to open a .dmg for the OpenAudible application.

In a couple of stock apps (mail, notes) two finger swipe to delete/ mark as read, I'm noticing an annoying stutter animation as it slides over, same thing on messages works fine. Running on public beta on M1 MBP.

Steam will crash on initial launch IF you have AirPods (any of them) connected. Have not tested with any other Bluetooth headphones. Disconnect AirPods, launch Steam, launch your game, then connect AirPods - that's the workaround for now.

Huh. Works for me with my APPs. Steam did just update, so that might have fixed it.

VMWare Fusion 12.1.2 might be corrupting my Linux VMs with beta2?
I’ve had problems on at least four different VMs now, when restarting and even with clean orderly shutdowns.
Filesystem corruption sometimes means I need to redeploy them from scratch.

I have noticed a couple of issues since installing Beta 2, don't know if coincidence or due to Monterey:

- Preview crashes when duplicating photos, then shows duplicate photo if clicking on original again
- When typing in the active window (e.g. word doc/excel/hotmail/any safari pages etc) the window deactivates so no words are appearing. Have to click on the window to start the cursor and begin typing again. This happens every 10-15 words. Have tried to reset PRAM, SMC etc
- Duly noted re Microsoft Remote Desktop and find the current workaround works ok
- Recent entries in contact list don't appear alphabetically on Mac (but do in iCloud and on iPhone)

Any thoughts or suggestions much appreciated

Quite interesting. Steam still crashing while it is launching for me - even after that last update. I am about to install 12.0 PB3. I will report back.

Typing in the active windows - I am yet to run into any issues. Search bars, Spotlight, browser tabs, Pages/Numbers, Mail/Spark, iMessage, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp are all working as expected when I am typing.
I was also able to duplicate multiple photos (one at a time) without any issues.

Safari Bookmarks and Reading List with beta 3 - is it just me?

My Reading List and Bookmarks no longer sync between by Big Sur iMac and Monterey beta 3 MacBook. Was syncing fine with beta 2. History is syncing ok.

The only bug that is bugging me right now (see what I did there?) is a contacts issue however it might be unrelated to the beta. I have my contacts syncing between my iPhone and Mac no issues on the iPhone but its showing I have two iCloud accounts in Contacts on the Mac so as a result of that its showing two of every contact I have in contacts. anything I can do? I have reset my Apple ID password and also disabled my iCloud account but nothing is fixing it

Clicking on password field still an issue in beta 3. I know the work around is to click the checkbox to "show password" but I have apps that don't have that feature like iDrive. Hopefully fixed in beta 4....
