I wonder if we'll see an icon redesign like we see in the iOS 19/26 leaks

I'm not sure why people are talking of macOS being a bug city these days, I don't see many bugs. The only ones I experience are those Continuity/hand off features where phone calls are not working properly and pasting from the clipboard after copying from the iPhone simply won't work.

I'd also love it if my Mac stopped asking for my password. I mean what is TouchID on there if you're asking me my password all the time?
I am with you. I started using Sequoia as a beta and every bug that I found and reported was fixed by general release. I think it has been a rock-solid OS. Actually, they did finally fix issues that I used to have with SideCar with my iPad prior to Sequoia.

An odd name choice, considering that the Tahoe is manufactured by a carmaker (Chevrolet) that has announced that it is phasing out its former CarPlay support.

"It's 2032. You're still on the OS from 2026."
Except Apple wouldn’t be using the number of the year it was released in. You’d have a 2029 Air running macOS 2030. Is macOS 2030 an os from 2029 or 2030? How is this not more confusing?

Thanks Apple, but it's really time to drop the OS names.

Even if only five minutes was put into this (and I'm sure it was far more, needing necessary clearance from legal etc.), that's five minutes that could've been put towards cleanup and bug fixes.

No... that "bug city" number one position is permanently taken by MS Windows OS. Otherwise it wouldn't need weekly updating and huge IT departments for support. For me, macOS has served my well since version 10.1 - "Hand off" usually works too, as long as I have the wifi turned on on my iPhone. What I found the most impressive is that the wireless AirPods (4 ANC) actually does switch correctly between my iPhone and Mac's. It "knows" when to connect to the right device, even when they are all on the table.

So what is wrong with Macos 26? why add a second name.
26.1/version---26.5.1 version -------26.9.1 version etc etc..
Thats all i care to look at when someone asks me.
Yup im running Mac-os 15.5 current.
Can`t spell Sequoia half the time..lol
