RIP Forum Spy. You were the best of this website. Now you're gone.

Still would've rather had an app.

The gray info box in the pages needs to be darker to clearly indicate where one post stops and he next one begins.

I received a blue ribbon on my avatar from MR. Gone? Or is this coming back?

Ok, here is a flaw: I discovered that &$?#*3 no longer seemed to be on my ignore list. So, I clicked on the poster name and put &$?#*3 back on my ignore list. Before, I could see a stripe where &$?#*3 had posted, and I had the option of looking at the post (which occasionally I would do). Now there is nothing. I saw the thread go post #11->13->15 with no indication that there was any post there at all.

I think this is not an improvement.

I didn't see you get a reply to this. There is a subtle "Show Ignored Content" link at the bottom of the thread that will show this content to you.

I still don't understand all these years later why there isn't a native MR app tied to the site for both articles and forum posting rather than relying on a mobile version (which on my 6+ I always opt for the desktop version). There is an AppShopper app which I understand isn't related to MR. It would be nice to see an actual iOS app.

Since making one post in this thread I have gotten 3 emails now letting me know someone has posted in it. Not replied to me directly, quoting me. Just posted. Have to go in an turn that off right away!!

I could be mistaken but I think I read a post from @arn that Forum Spy is disabled "for now". But I could be wrong. I've read so many posts about the new forums.

Much welcome-revamp! Not sure if this has been addressed already but it seems threads created following Wednesday of last week were lost in transition. Assuming they'll be restored but if not not a big deal.

I used Quote Notifications in the upper right before to see when someone replied to my post.

Is this still active?

Can you set your preferences to email you only for quote notifications and messages and not for every post in every thread you are watching or have posted in?

Can you set your alert preferences to email you a daily recap instead of every 10 seconds that something happens?

Arn I echo everyone else, thank you for switching to XenForo. It's such a clean forum software, and though I paid $140 for a copy for my now-defunct Minecraft server, it's very silky smooth.

Which threads are you talking about? We shouldn't have lost any threads

Specifically, I had created a thread as a guide about improving Apple Watch battery life. At least in my case all newly-created threads past Wednesday, May 27th seem to be missing.

Edit: all of my posts past Wednesday, May 27th are also missing. (I post daily.) Not sure if they are simply not appearing on my profile and the search, perhaps yet to be indexed.

Ah... yes. that's a search index issue. That will be rebuilt tonight. Your posts are still here.

GIANT avatars from beyond the stars!
Now I'll have to find some pic of a 400 foot radioactive SSD or similar.

Cool, thanks. Congratulations on the new forum interface! I'll admit I spend a bit more time here than I should and this revamp certainly won't help that :) but it looks great.

It's just missing from your post history. There appears to have been some mix-ups there.

Ah, ok. I was wondering about that.

I dont like the fact that i have to hover over a forum thread in the tread list to see the last couple of pages, makes it even harder to get a quick overview over a thread, if it has only 1 page of posts in the thread or maybe a couple of hundred pages. Feels like there is no reason to hide them either since there is more than enough space to show it, kinda feels like someone just found out about CSS show/hide techniques and MUST use them somewhere even though it doesnt make it any better UI. I prefer going to the last page instead of the last unread but kinda annoying now when the page controls isnt showing.

Here i have moused over the "Post your last purchase...." thread.
