Whoa, now this is a change.

Ye, for sure...

So much change, i had to blink again just to make sure i wasn't dreaming ..

MR broke my Apple emotes in my sig :(

The two buttons previous in subscribed threads, now has two buttons for different things as opposed to select and remove one all all like before from the same dropdown. (now one at the top to remove all unread threads, and one at the bottom to remove individual subscriptions..

It's definitely a change ... Some things look good, but i'll need go get used to the design,, looks like my bank, and the same i thought about them was "OMG.... its now duller than before."

Its like saying "We've just run out of green felt for Game Center"

Now i have something to do during the day :) I'm totally lost since all the wording has changed.

@arn Since I've not seen it addressed, I'll ask again. Do subscribers get their titles back at some point? I still seem to have my subscription but a default title.

And, one more vote for style options. My preferences seem to have a place for them with no content. Thanks!

@arn

The "Use Rich Text Editor" should be on the top right as the "Use BB Code Editor" icon is up there too, if possible.

The profile HUD is also a bit strangely formatted, as the "Likes
Received" is split over two lines.
Maybe the "Likes Received" can be put into the next line like "Trophy Points".

But that @ function is quite nice.

I like the new quoted post feature where it gray's out the ending of a long post and when you click on it, it expands the full quote out so it can be read. This is great because when some really long posts get quoted over and and over again, the thread won't be 10 miles long anymore. :)

@arn I'm thinking that a one pixel border around post blocks would make the theme more attractive. Currently the light blue just leads off into the white background. I feel that a subtle border would give each post a bit of visual containment.

Which details? Like profile details? We lost a few profile fields in the transition. Those aren't likely to come back . Mostly there are some lagging permissions that will take some time.

On a related note, I've always wondered how the CPU designations, under the User Names, are assigned?
Is it length of the user's membership, post count or something else?
Are they editable (I can't seem to find a way to do this)?
Is there a chart as to how they are assigned?

Nice job on the transition to the new platform! It looks great. Very "metro" like.
I am finding it more difficult to use, but that may be because it's a new platform. One thing I really don't like is the way that attachments are shown in the thread, and when you click on the attachment in the thread (the viewer window that pops up). Is there a way to change the default display of attachments in a thread, as well as when you click on the attachment?

It's based on post count. Yours will move up to "6502a" upon your 500th post. There is a chart somewhere but I cannot seem to find it.

Arn, any thoughts on auto-widening the forum to tailor specific screen sizes?

Takes up maybe one half of the screen real estate on a 27" iMac.

It is taking some time to get used to all the changes but I do like it so far.

Will take some time to get used to it because I tend to browse forums by their design...

but so far looks good. Cleaner and whiter definitely.

this is going to take some getting used to but some amazing and convenient new modern features added. maybe a bit too white.

one question though. will previous likes show up or only the ones after the change? i was really racking them up these past few days :)

For those of you wondering what happened to the "Search this forum" button: At the top right of the page there is a magnifying glass below your user name. Tap that magnifying glass icon and then tap the gear that replaces it, this will give you some search options.

I know the forum change is necessary because V-Bulletin is problematic at best. I have migrated a large forum myself but dang, you should have at least posted something about it on the news page before the migration. A warning would have been appreciated.

So far I'm not liking it because there is too much space being used. It doesn't look at tight and neat as the old forum. It will take some adjusting to get use to the new style. Not happy but I guess we don't have a choice.
