I'd use an ultraportable for that long but a 17" if far from ultraportable

Crying shame we don't get the same battery option for a MB. I'd take a fixed battery with them benefits over a non-fixed battery any day!

But I'll never get a 17" MBP, much too large for me.

Not me! This machine is too big and too expensive to be of any interest to me. I don't need 1920x1200 and I don't need 8 hours.

Furthermore, products I don't personally want should not exist for anyone 😉 Only the products I want should exist. I'm sure we can all agree on that.

Wow...just wow. Not in a good way. And thats more than a cycle a day...hate to see your battery health.

It will last more, just like the current ones last 300 with 80%, these will probably last 1000 with 80%.
